    Doesn't sync don't buy

Run Forest Run!! It won't sync, eats the phone battery like crazy, you can't change the clock face without another App patch, and support is simply nonexistent. Got this as a gift and it's going back. The fit bit folks lost a lot of credibility on this one, therefore my next tracker won't be a fitbit. It is simply not worth the time, trouble and cost to own. Worst of all is that the fit bit company is allowing this to go on and with no acknowledgement there is a problem and offers no real fix. If you want to waste time restarting and reloading things for no improvement, on a product that won't work, then this little gem is tailor made for your! Or you can buy my broken watch for half the price and save 50%!

    Worthlessly inaccurate

I was so excited to give this watch a try, but should have paid attention to user reviews on other sites about inaccuracy. Most of the time if you’re carrying something while walking, it won’t measure steps because your arm isn’t moving. Carrying laundry all through the house yields no steps. But petting my cat while sitting causes it to register steps! Unbelievable. How can a step measuring device based on arm movements possibly be worthwhile? Maybe if you’re just exercise walking, but if you’re trying to incorporate more movement into your regular life and want to know how much you’re moving, this is a waste.

If you workout outdoors don’t buy this product! Can’t even see the time let alone scroll to the options to start tracking a run or bike ride.

    SP02 not activated

Likewise, will also be returning the Charge 3. Only reason I purchased it was for the SP02 sensor, and can’t believe months have passed by without this feature being “activated”. I go to high elevations quite a bit, and it is important to get a blood oxygen level reading. I thought the Charge 3 would be able to do this, the way the Vivosmart 4 does. Unbelievable that the sensor is built in, but we can’t use it! Will be returning this and purchasing the Vivosmart 4.

    Very disappointed

Would record hundreds of steps while I was driving, said that I burned 3500 calories on average in a week of sitting in class 8 hours a day, said I climbed 270 feet in 30 seconds while I was riding a motorcycle, after 2 weeks of use the gyroscope failed and the heart rate monitor started displaying random wrong numbers. Worked very well while doing exercises especially when paired with a phone for gps. would not buy again.

    No good

I bought this fitbit for my mother and it completely stopped working within a month of her using it. It no longer tracks steps nor sleep and it does not sync with her iPhone. When we contacted Fitbit about it, there was very little they offered to do. I would not at all recommend this fitbit. I have the Versa and have not had such problems.

Don’t get this if you need a functioning WATCH.

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Charge 3 was supposed to come with an adjustable screen time out. It did not. Screen time is less than 3 seconds. As a veterinarian, I need to be able to get heart & respiratory rates of my patients. I cannot do this with the Charge 3. I don’t want to wear 2 watches, so this item is basically useless to me! FitBit’s customers have asked for this for the last 7 months. Customer Service has been mute on the subject. Mine was a gift, or else it would have been returned. Very disappointed in FitBit.

    sleep tracking worthless

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

You pay extra for the sleep tracker and off and on it does not work-they try to blame you with-your not wearing it right, your internet, its not charged-none true! It is fully charged, position on wrist has not changed and internet is working fine on all (multiple) devices on the home. Fit bit will loose due to not taking responsibility-poor quality. Why would anyone par for any additional services if the basics don’t work!

    Breaks after warranty

    Posted .

Will never buy a fit bit product again , I started with the fit bit charge one and have the fit bit charge 3 now. these fit bits usually breaks about 4 months after the warranty runs out. when you call customer support , the best they can do is offer you 25% off full retail price while other retails are already selling the product at 25 -40% off . You cannot buy the extended warranty unless you buy directly from them. customer service is rude.

    Do not buy!

I have had the Fitbit Charge for 3 weeks now. It doubles your steps even when you change the settings (I have mine on dominant hand which it is not and it helped but still WAY off) and now it won’t charge. I’m assuming the charging cord is no longer working after being used a total of 3 or 4 times. Really wish I would have kept the box so I could return it. I also wish my husband would have read the reviews before buying as I have seen many with the same problems.

    Horrible product

Dont waste your money buying this watch. I bought it today and it was the crappiest product that i have purchased. I tried to test to see how accurate it will track my steps and i was sitting without moving and it kept adding steps, eventhough i wasnt moving at all. I had it for 3 hours and it ended up telling me that i have walked for 673 steps and also said that i burned about 2000 calories. Dont waste ur money. Its absolutely a horrible product

Do Not Buy! Very High Failure Rate

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Fitbit obviously rushed this version to market in time for the holidays. Mine died within 2 weeks and I am waiting on Fitbit warranty department to call me back (they are swamped). Google “Charge 3 won’t turn on” and read the tons of problems people are having. I have a Charge 2 and have never had a problem with it. Buyer beware on the 3!

    3 Failed Watches

We have had 2 Charge 2's stop charging after less than a year of use. Now my Ionic is also failing by counting 1 step per second while sitting on my table and flashing on and off. Tech support was Zero help all 3 times. I will never purchase another Fitbit product and I highly recommend you do not waste your money.

    Not accurate enough for me

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I returned it after 3 days. It registered I climbed 11 flights of stairs and huge numbers of steps I didn't take. I wanted it for weight loss to record calories burned and I could consume less than I burned. Basic stuff you need to lose weight, it was useless for my goals. I can get much closer using the simple My Plate App. on the iPhone.

    Worst tracker

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Very inaccurate. Used just while working and tracked over 40,000 steps. Always had trackers over estimate on an average work day around 20 to 22k steps. Even this I would say is close to double. Liked the heart rate monitor but if your steps are this far off so are the other numbers.

    Tiny, Tiny Font

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Unlike the fitbit 2, the font for items other than time is so small it is nearly impossible to read. If your older, you would be best to stick with the fitbit 2. I can't believe they released this. On the fitbit site, there are a lot of complaints but they are being ignored by fitbit.

    Fitbit Charge 3

Loved it while it worked but 2 months in and screen is black. If you google this is a common problem and warranty is only for 45 days. Done with Fitbit.
