    It's a good entry-level tracker. But, it did malfunction several times when my daughter tried to use it and wouldn't exit the mode it was in. I think it's not made anymore anyway but, I would opt for a better one, even if it's for your child.

    Sad to say this Charge 3 lasted Less than 8 months. I am usually so happy with my fitbit, but this one decided to die on me in September. Luckily they are replacing at no charge, but upsetting nonetheless >
