Constant syncing issues due to bad bluetooth

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Fitbit Charge 3 would be a great fitness tracker if it actually stayed synced to the app. After the most recent firmware update the charge 3 doesn't even pair to the app anymore. This becomes a greater issue in that you need to factory reset the watch to supposedly fix connection issues and so the charge 3 cannot even be used as a watch because the time will reset to the earliest point of the date on it.

I was very happy with its operation and app. It met my expectations. However, it only lasts a little over a year. It simply stopped charging and the screen resolution decreased to unreadable. Since I'd had it over a year (only 18 mos.), the warranty had expired. Although it was good, initially, it should last more than a year.
