After using a previous model of FitBit, I am happy to see improvements in this update. It is better looking and seems more durable but the biggest improvement was the clip on the charging cord. My old one was hard to connect and eventually fell apart. While the new design is a bit more attractive, the plastic band is still not particularly comfortable. It reminds me of the old Swatch watches and thus I would like to see them evolve the band to have the more comfortable bands that Swatch developed for their watches.

I really like my Fitbit charge 3. I got it mostly to monitor my heart rate but the sleep monitoring has been very interesting to track.

Glad I upgraded, this is just like the other one except I like that it is waterproof. Haven't tried swimming with it yet but so far I am satisfied with it.

I love the FitBit because it keeps track of all my steps, sleep patterns, heart rate, etc. When I go the gym my FitBit keeps track of everything I do. It’s awesome!

This device was very easy to set up. Ive had it for several months now and wear it daily. The band is more attractive and appears more sturdy then the Charge 2.

Great size and superb battery life. This is for those that do not want a big Apple Watch but just something to keep track of calories and heart rate.

Fitbit was purchased by Google so now Google has another means to track everything you do. Wanted to track my quality of sleep since I work a rotating shift. Nice for that, otherwise it vibrates alot harassing you to take more steps etc. Pretty had to get it to display when you want it to and a but challenging to navigate on the screen sometimes locking up.

Bought it for my 65+ year old mom because she likes to track her steps, she loves it and it’s very easy for her to use and the screen is big enough for her to read

Very easy to setup and use. My husband has a tendency to destroy his tracker and require a new one. (He is not very tech savvy) This was a great value!

This is a good value if you want the basics. Not too complicated for a person. If you want just your steps counted and heart rate you can't go wrong.

If you can’t always wear a monitor on your index finger, this is a heart way for people with heart conditions to check their hr. Not as complicated as apple watches.

I love my fit bit. I had a charge2 and upgraded to the charge3. I’m so glad I did. My favorite thing about the charge 3 is it has the battery life on the device.

I bought charge 3 last November when it just came out. Today, after almost a year and right after the warranty was ended, the screen started to lose pixels around the corners. When I contacted Fitbit support they said they can send me a discount code towards the purchase of their other products. As if I'm going to buy another fitness tracker from them that is designed to break down after the warranty finishes. What a joke!

Not worth it, $80/year for data analysis

I bought Fitbit Charge 3 fitness tracking for the following reasons, it's small, tracks sleep quality, tracks some of the exercise activities and I don't have to charge it everyday. I used it for three days so far, and I am not happy with it for the following reasons, 1- Hear rate monitor is terrible, I use chest strap heart rate monitor during my exercise and realized that this Fitbit is off by far especially during the exercise. For example when I run, my HRM reports max of 161 bpm, Fitbit reports 200 bpm. Also, there is no option to connect chest HRM to it, if any at all. 2- You get basic data analysis. However, Fitbit charges $10/a month or $80 a year for premium data analysis that is not even accurate, why? absolutely not worth it. your analysis is as good as your data accuracy (most of the analysis are estimates). Besides, there are other options for fitness tracker that don't charge anything for detailed data analysis. 3- The auto exercise detection is not that reliable either, it has to be performed for at least 15 min, by default. 4- Starting to track an exercise is not as intuitive as it should be. Few times so far, when I selected what I want to track, just to realize later that I missed one more thing to active it. you need to go through about 4 screens before it starts the tracking. 5- The Touch screen is not very responsive at times, you need to swipe the screen slowly, and sometimes you have to use the button to activate the tracker.

This watch does everything my old one did plus more. The app you use is very easy to navigate. The battery life is amazing. I believe I charge mine every 8 days.
