    Battery Died After 7 months

For 6 months, this device performed great. It held a charge for almost 5 days and I loved the screen and features. Suddenly, the device would only hold a charge for 30 hours or less, even after disabling GPS and other "battery draining" features. I see from the FitBit online forum the poor battery life is very common for this device. But after the challenges I experienced with having FitBit acknowledge the issue and replace the device, I wouldn't recommend this product to others.

Garbage. It stopped working about 4 weeks after purchase. It would not turn on and resets did nothing. Then after a week of sitting on charge it turned on but the step counter stopped working. Recently the step counter started working, but the battery is lucky to make it past 15 hours before dying. When I first got it, it easily made 2 days on a charge. I've read reviews of shutting off GPS and other things, but why shut off those things when that's the exact reason why I bought this stupid watch?

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. Worked great for one week. Then the screen went black and was unresponsive. I did some research online and this is apparently a common problem. I restarted the watch (press the charger button 3x) and got it to vibrate and show the blue Fitbit logo, but then nothing. Luckily this is within my Best Buy return window, but do I risk getting another one? Looks great, terrible quality.

Not sure if I got unlucky or it's just a bad device, but once I start exercising, the HR stays low for a long time. Comparing with the machine and my wife's apple watch (that I used to ensure it was this device) it delays as much as 10 min to catch up with the right HR. Very concerning, as I try to increase my HR as fast as possible to keep it in cardio. The device will even restart the HR ok its own, showing "--" for a couple minutes. Its past 30 days and I cant return it, but would definitely return it if I could. Waste of money.

The FITBIT worked fine for a couple of days after the full charge. I also downloaded the APP on my phone. Then after sitting on the counter for a few days, it appeared to need a charge, so I charged it again. It worked for one day, but then, no matter what I tried, the screen was blank! I have returned it as defective and am awaiting a refund. My advice is do NOT buy it as it is a waste of money!

Not sure why this gets positive reviews. Purchased for my dad. I'm pretty tech savvy and I couldn't get the firmware to update after 3 hours and speaking with tech support. I'm not sure if it's an issue with my dad's iphone. But I easily installed the inspire 3 on my android. If you look up complaints about charge 5 update/syncing issues there's a lot of complaints. Advertised features not available at launch. Heart rate and SP02 do not work through tattoos. For someone with patience and no tattoos this would be great!

Constantly needs to be reset because settings revert or the screen doesn't work correctly. The clasp that connects the tracker to the band just snapped when my daughter was playing and tugged on it. The clasp is cheap plastic. Wish I could just return it, but probably need to contact customer support now. Can't wait ...

Worst device I have ever seen and worst customer support/service. My device stopped working and after lot of followups. They replaced with non working device again and now saying, we can’t help anymore. Never buy Fitbit devices.

Fitbit doesn't maintain connection to bluetooth, so it is unable to update firmware, as it looses it's connection during the middle of the update. Tried 2 Charge 5's and many hours on the phone with Fitbit Support. Returned them both.

Had to return two of them First one wouldn't synch no matter what I did for FOUR hours. And I know what I'm doing. Second one had its own problems. Bought a versa 3 on sale $100 of. Love the versa. Hate the Fitbit community as the men will hit on you and the app just erased all the meals I put in for the last week for no reason.

Happy to find the Charge 5 on sale but could not get it to pair with my phone no matter what steps I tried. Then even though it was fully charged, the screen went black and the device would not show any signs of life. On the plus side, Best Buy was very quick to refund my purchase.
