Use my fitbit charge 5 everyday and link it to other apps. However, first time I used it to track my swim, it died. Had to call Fitbit to replace it. I have never tried it in a pool again.

Love the product so much better than previous versions… wish it came with a few extra watch bands

I preordered the Charge 5. Was using Charge 3 and had no problems with it. I finally got Charge 5 last week and never got to use it even once. It came and I followed instructions. Initially it had a hard time staying connected to my phone. Then when it did connect to phone not all displays were visible on fitbit. It required a firmware update. I talked to tech support about it. I did the firmware update which took the entire day and now it is junk. It won't do anything but briefly flash fit bit logo. I talked to tech support again and they said that they would forward my case to advanced tech support. I haven't heard since. I ended up taking it back. Fortunately I got it through Best Buy and was able to take it back within 14 days. If you get one that doesn't work then definitely take it back. Fitbit is lost on this issue and doesn't know how to correct it at this time. I would wait awhile to get Charge 5 until they figure this out.

I have had all the fitbit watches. This one was great until a software upgrade in 2023. Now, The screen randomly shuts off and many others have this problem. I contacted Fitbit and they said it may be due to the clock face. Why would they put these third party clocks if they will be an issue. They offered me a 50% code. Great, spend more money on another watch.

The Fit Bit is a very good product. The ease of ordering online And picking up in the store was great!

Since I got my Charge 5 about 8 months ago it has been very disappointing. The majority of the time I try to sync it with my phone I get an error that says "couldn't sync your charge 5", and I've already had to reset it to factory close to 10 times to fix this. The app is very slow and clunky and a lot of the useful metrics are locked behind a paywall. Also, the heart rate monitor stops working above 150 bpm. TLDR: This is a $150 clock/ pedometer.

It was a gift for another person. He is pleased. Great product , great service.

I love my new Charge 5 and all the features, but you have to turn everything off to get more than two days of battery life. The first day of wearing it, the battery drained in 24 hours, then I changed the settings, and I turned everything off or to the lowest setting, got two days life. I am sorry, but battery life is everything these days, and this was not designed for that. These are awesome new features, but I spend more time charging it than wearing it. I like my Charge 4 is so much more, ugh, think I might go back. Not sure I would recommend this product,

great product super service ordering and receiving

I received this Fitbit 5 from my sister who bought it from Bestbuy. Before this I had the Fitbit 4 and the Fitbit 2. 13 months after having it, Out of the blue, the battery just drained completely in 2 hours one day while I was at work. I charged it, and the same thing occurred. I attempted the whole reset by using the charger cable, did not work. I contacted Fitbit customer service who said it was beyond the warranty and nothing could be done. My Fitbit charge 4 that I have for years is still working perfectly but unfortunately I gave it away when I received the Fitbit 5. So now I am using my old Fitbit Charge 2. The Fitbit Charge 5 was a huge disappointment to me and I have lost faith in the newer Fitbit products. For now I will just use my Charge 2 until it dies and then switch to different company.

Suppose to get 6 months free premium membership and didn't. But, love the watch with basic info.
