Very good product works as advertised but the software up dates can cause problems with accuracy of that day's data. Also, there is no function for tracking stairs.

I bought this model to upgrade my Charge 3. Numbers were too small on the older model to read time w/o glasses. I have a small wrist and appreciate this size option. I did not like the fat bands that came with ..replaced with a thin Fitbit specific velcro version band which is marvelous but added much to over all price. Charge 5 does not seem improved battery life over the 3 ..but battery life I thought was already excellent. One star deduction for the band.

Works great, love the color display. It'll take some time to get used to the removal of the side button. Very happy to see there's a new watch band connector as the connector on my charge 4 broke after wearing it for a few months

I just received my 9 year congrats for being a Fitbit owner. The deception is that in the 9 years I've had to replace them often. My current Fitbit just stopped working last week it's not holding the charge and I'm not getting sleep stats which is important to me. So this is goodbye I refuse to purchase another!!

I didn’t like the charge 5 and did not live up to Fitbits standers. I had many issues with the watch in the year that I have been using it. My biggest complaint is the GPS. The tracking in general is not good for me because you have to choose to sacrifice GPS or hr readings when on a run or work out that used them. If you have GPS on then hr tracking will become less accurate or not read. My second biggest complaint is the clock faces. For some reason when I tied to switch watch faces it could. It load on to the watch successfully and would give you an error screen and would require you to restart the watch. Some of my minor issues was Bluetooth connectivity not working so then I wouldn’t be able to sync or get notifications for a while. Another minor issue was the smart alarms. Sometimes they would not go off or if it lost hr tracking it would trigger the alarm at that time. Overall I didn’t like the watch and I could have bought the versa 2 at the time for the same price. I was coming to the this watch after my amazfit bip u pro died (it was a hold over watch that I bought for cheap bc my older Fitbit versa lite died) I don’t recommend this and I hope I just bought a dud watch.

This was my second fitbit purchase in 2.5 years. My previous watch (Charge 3) died 4 months after the 1 year warranty was up. I purchased this watch on January 24/22, it died yesterday, January 31/23, (one week after the warranty expired!). I have taken good care of my watches. I use them primarily to track walking, sleep and heart rate. A device such as this should last at least 3 years!

I've used Fitbit trackers for years. I've continued to use Fitbit through the years because of the 7 to 8 day battery life. This is the best one I've used yet with the color screen, more detail on walks (time, calories burned, avg.bpm, and % of time in each zone), stress management functionality, sleep score including quality of sleep. What I particularly like because cardiovascular disease is a family risk factor, is the Health Metrics, eg., breathing rate, heart rate variability, skin temp, oxygen saturation, and resting heart rate. Some of these features were on my old Charge 3 and some are new which present a more comprehensive health picture. I'm looking forward to the day blood glucose monitoring will be able to work well with Fitbit and other trackers.

I'm happy with my purchase. There has only been one problem: Yesterday it documented my activity as swimming for 48 minutes; however, that's not true. I've been sick so I haven't been active and I don't even know HOW to swim. LOL

My old charge 4 broke. The part that holds wristband sheared off. So far, this is just like the other fitbits. I play with the ECG and stress for now, but I doubt I'll get premium. I will say "water lock" is a must before showering! I get out of the shower and I'm not sure what screen I'm on anymore.
