I had this for a couple of days and seems pretty accurate for what i do which is strength training but also accurate with HR and sleep. The display is bright even on a sunny day. Trying out the premium for 6 months and then make a decision whether to pay for it yearly/monthly.

Just getting started. Set up is done and now I'm being tracked :) I like the soft gold, shape of the face and the wrist band is more comfortable than it appears. Allows for greater security with two step verification. Battery life unknown to me at this time but I expect it to be terrific. Many benefits with the free 6 month premium. CNET loves this as one of the best for 2021. Four stars! So far, so good.

I don't like wearing jewelry or a watch but my health and age got to the point where I thought it might be useful to track some important biometrics. Initially I could feel the Charge 5 on my wrist but, surprising, I don't realize I'm wearing one now. I regulary check the synced data on my computer and my smart fun and try to increase my physical activity when I see I've been too sedentary.

I loved my Charge 2 and Charge 5 does everything better. I would have loved a few better watch faces but it is not bad.Quality looks good and it still has that great ease of use. The quality of band also looks better than the older Charge models. Though, moving from the concept of active minutes to minutes in zone takes some time.

This is a great Fitbit. I am getting my steps in since I constantly look at it. I track my water and monitor my heart rate. I love it!

I was not happy about having a color screen at 1st, I wanted to keep it "simple" but it actually is very nice and makes it more friendly. It's quite smaller than the 4 which is great... though I do miss the button on the side

I bought this primarily for step counting. Seems accurate on steps and distance so satisfied there. From other reviews, one concern I had was with battery life. Mine is lasting two to three days between re-charges. I normally recharge when I hit about 40% battery left. The only thing I really don't like about it is the band. It tends to stick to me and pull on arm hair sometimes.

I rated the Charge 5 with 3 stars as I really have only used the steps, sleep and time. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to figure out how to use it to do some other things. I bought it to replace my Charge 4 as I was tired of the 4 not being able to show time when I was doing my daily walking outside. I don't like that often when I tap or roll my wrist, the 5 stays black.

    Disappointed

It looks good but has already stopped letting me know when to walk and I can't figure out how to correct it. It gives you zones minutes but does not count floors. It keeps asking me to add a credit card which I have no intention of doing. The battery life is very short. I have to charge it every 2 days and that is if I don't wear it to bed. I bought extra bands for it. They are very easy to change. However, the band colors are very bland and I can't find the colors I want.

Bought for my wife when her Charge 2 quit working. Seems to be working fine but the directions aren't clear on how to set up and what the watch can do. If you don't need all the bells and whistles of those big clunky watches, this is the one for you.

    Lasted 14 months

Lasted 14 months until the screen went black. The fitbit needed an update and after that would not sync. I did everything that was recommended in the fitbit forums. I reset many times from the charger button, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I called and customer support could not help either. The screen just blew out I suppose. When I reset, the fitbit logo shows a second then goes black. Thats it. The lights on the bottow light up but the screen was just not responding. Fitbit gave me a 35% discount to buy a new fitbit since i was over warranty so i give them 2 stars for that. Something better than nothing...Something is wrong with this fitbit as i read many people had the same issue.. Synching was a problem too. It took too long most of the time.. I initially went to best buy to see if maybe they knew of a solution and they sent me to the cell phone workers to help...they of course couldnt help..didnt want to help..its always a hit or miss with the friendliness at the best buy phone employee area..there is always someone there with a bad attitude.
