I bought this as a replacement for my charge 3 due to battery issues. After a few weeks, I wish I’d replaced it with an Apple Watch. The battery doesn’t last as long as the 3 (when it was new). It doesn’t always track data (I.e. - heart rate, sleep). But ironically, unless you lock the watch, it will sometimes start recording a run or swim when I’m not engaged in those activities. I hate having to lock the watch to prevent this from happening. Prior to purchase, I read the less than favorable reviews. But I decided since I liked the 3 so much….surely I would like this one. I wish I’d heeded the advice. If you like utilizing data, this version is not reliable. I’ll wear it for awhile since I just spent a little $ on it. But without a doubt, I won’t replace it with a Fitbit.

Replaced my old one that went dead after 5 years. At least i can see the time in the sunlight

Great Fitbit tracker. Love how it shows the heart rate and the steps.

As far as Fitbit models go, there are far better ones out there than the Charge 5. I had a Charge 2 and then a Charge 4 and only replaced my Charge 4 when it broke into pieces (I took a soccer ball straight to the wrist and it was already over a year old at that point) - but the Charge 5 has so many battery issues and less watch faces than previous models and customer service on the company's side wasn't great (and I was basically advised to not use features I paid for in exchange for a potentially better battery life). The battery is supposed to last a week, but I was lucky to get 48 hours out of it.

Went from a Fitbit 4 to a 5 and loving it. A little difference but nothing to worry about.

The Fit bit Charge 5 is much better than my old Charge. The Charge 5 provides lots of information in the app to keep track of your physical activity. The sleep feature also works well.

Great product, easy to read even in bright light, battery could last a little longer, but it charges very fast so not much of an issue

Got this for my daughter and she loves it. She has heart issues and it helps her understand when she needs to chill out for a bit. Offers lots of good information and insight while she's active and helps us stay informed.
