My wife loves the Fitbit! She's had 4 of them over the years. Her ability to track her sleep, exercise, and communications services are perfect. It's small (she is petite) and classy. Just be careful wearing in a hot tub, that's why I had to buy this one. ;)

    3 day battery life

Returned Charge 6 today. Back to YEARS OLD, reliable FitBit Alta HR, whose display is so dim I tried to replace it after all these years with the Charge 6. Alta HR still lasts 10-14 days with exercise, driving (it thinks I'm exercising), sleep tracking. Never bring charger when going away for a few days. It endures daily showers and because it's narrow and can be worn fairly loose, my skin dries easily, doesn't get indented or a rash. Charge 6 has to be worn tighter and has a wider band, so my wrist remains wet, gets indented and turns pink and sensitive. Most important features for me: battery life, sleep track, heart rate, water resistance (don't remove to take shower), readable/bright display for the moment I check it. Nice to have: SPO2, ECG, tap/near to pay...Charge 6 has these, Alta HR doesn't. Charge 6 needed to be charged EVERY 3 DAYS like clockwork...it would die on me bc I kept thinking I'd have at least a couple hours or more when it hit 20%. It died every 3rd day approx late AM/early PM. And once it hit 20% battery, its battery level would plummet within an hour and it would go dark, not to come on again until recharged. For its battery, 20% is not linear WRT 3 days, FWIW. I had 3 days battery life with the following settings (the entire time) to see how much I could squeeze out of battery life: GPS OFF Google Maps and YouTube Music OFF Display: Dim, Auto Screen Wake, Default time on before turn off (IOW, not Always On, it turns itself off after it wakes) Bluetooth OFF - except to sync for 1-2 mins each morning Notifications OFF No ECG, EDA use No Google Pay transactions No HR Equipment use No actual exercising or driving!!! Sedentary No Alarms or Timers set No Find Phone use It rarely vibrated, except for Inactivity or 10P reminder to go to sleep ...So you can see why 3 days was unaccaptable given it's not a "Smart Watch" and it's promoted everywher as having 1 Week Battery Life. After 2-3 days of wear, it finally started recording sleep, initially it did not. I don't know if that's because I tightened it (not that comfortable) or if it had figure things out. Sleep tracking seemed consistent with Alta HR and other reference factors. Heart rate seemed fine and consistent with Alta HR. You can't use the ECG feature if you tell it you have a heart issue (I forget the actual verbiage..."afib"?) It's a handsome tracker, packed with features, easy to read display, easy to navigate menus, light on documentation in box, comes with a short and long half band depending on wrist size. The way the band "hooks" it flops over a lot and I'd have to start all over. I don't like that, watches have been around for a long time, they should be easy to put on...the fastening/buckling features are "mature technology" to say the least.

Good watch and fitness tracker. The screen is not bad to view notifications despite the narrow face - you can see the gist of the message, and it's anyway not meant to be a full viewer of messages. Battery life lasts just about through the week. Its auto workout detection confused swimming as an elliptical, so I turned off elliptical detection and it worked to detect swimming. If you turn on swimming manually, it will not track heart rate, but will track laps; but if it autodetects swimming, it will track heart rate but not number of laps.

I came from the Apple watch, but found I was not really using all the features on it. I also did not enjoy wearing it as much because the battery life lasted me about a day-day and a half without charging and I was not comfortable sleeping with it on my wrist for sleep tracking because of how bulky it felt. I wanted something that was light to wear, tracked my workouts, gave me the time, was water resistant, and wanted something that was easy to use without having to figure out system settings. Before deciding on a tracker, I considered the Garmin Instinct, Instinct 2, Pixel Watch, Fitbit Versa 4, and Fitbit Sense 2. I ended up buying this and this watch has been a game changer for me. Since I started using this watch, I have been able to track my sleep because of how light it feels on my wrist but also because the battery life on this is great. I can get about 5-7 days (depending on usage) that I can squeeze before having to recharge. This is great because sometimes I forget to charge or don't want another thing to charge. Most times, I just want my watch to be a watch and don't want/need a big screen or all the extra apps on my wrist. Fitness tracking works great and the notifications are simple, but enough for me to know of any new messages that are coming through if I am away or cant look at my phone. The touch screen works well with the swipe navigation and the watch is light and looks sleek. The only con I have about this watch is that it does not allow you to change your music app. So, in this case, youtube music is the only music app that it allows you to access from the watch itself. If you have a subscription to YT music, then this might be less of a problem. If you don't have a YT music subscription, then it might be a bit of a bummer not being able to use this especially if you are not looking to pay for a subscription. When I had a free trial to YT Music though, it was nice being able to skip, raise the volume, and change artists from my watch. This is not a deal breaker not having this for me, but I wanted to mention it. Overall, I am loving this Fitbit and am happy that I went with it. I would recommend this !

I walk daily and hike occasionally. I am satisfied with the fit and functionality of this watch at the price point it was offered. Pros: Comfortable, lightweight. Excellent fitness tracker for walkers like me with just the right amount of data. I charge about once a week. Cons: Don't expect a full smartwatch/fitness tracker like experience. Limited data/functionality unless paying for fitbit premium.

I wear both a Fitbit and a Garmin for different reasons. Up until this Fitbit I would have said the Garmin is a better watch but with its recent update has literally become a Nanny instead of a fitness watch. I believe the Fitbit gives more accurate results as far as the new health statists. I am very pleased at how it tracks exercise automatically, whereas with the Garmin you have to start it, and sometimes it doesn't start correctly the first time so you miss tracking an exercise. Also, the Garmin seems to be programmed to think that everyone requires the same number of hours sleep and if you are not getting that many hours will literally tell you to rest if you try to start an activity. The Fitbit seems to recognize that people have different sleeping patterns and more accurately detects various sleep stages. There was a time when I would have said that the Garmin should be the choice for people who exercise regularly and do a lot of running and hiking, I am finding that the Fitbit is surpassing the Garmin. I have not yet tried the GPS features of the Fitbit and still use the Garmin to track my hikes but plan to test that soon and frankly if the Fitbit does well on that feature I will no longer have a reason to buy another watch.

As a parent, guiding my child towards a healthy lifestyle is a top priority. That's where the Fitbit Charge 6 Advanced Fitness & Health Tracker comes into play, a gadget that has revolutionized not just my child's fitness routine but also our family's approach to health. Right out of the box, the Charge 6 impresses with its sleek, kid-friendly design. Its lightweight profile and comfortable strap mean my child barely notices it's there. Whether it's worn in school or during soccer practice, it's tough enough to withstand the rough and tumble of kid activities. The Charge 6 is a powerhouse of features. The step counter and activity tracker keep my kid motivated, turning daily movements into a fun challenge. Its heart rate monitor is impressive, ensuring we stay informed about his cardiovascular health, a crucial aspect for his age. With an impressive battery life, the Charge 6 stays with my child through a week of school and sports without needing a charge. Its durability is another major plus, having survived numerous drops and bumps. Beyond tracking, the Charge 6 has been an educational tool, teaching my child about the importance of physical activity and healthy living. It's sparked discussions about heart health, the importance of sleep, and staying active, invaluable lessons for a growing child

Jeers to the watch band; watch itself is a keeper

The watch is great except for the band. It cuts into my wrist as the photo shows. Not sure why Fitbit changed the closure. The new snap closure is uncomfortable, leaves gaps, and when fastened tightly enough for it to actually track, left me with tender skin, a blister and a cut. Shifted to the other wrist and the same thing began to happen. Advise buying a traditional prong closure wristband to replace the one the watch comes with.
