Posted .Hi there, FirstXer. Sorry you’re running into trouble with connectivity on the Charge 6 — we totally understand how frustrating that can be. Normally, a quick reset can solve those issues — here’s how:
1. Connect your device to the charging cable.
2. Press and hold the button or buttons on your tracker for 5 seconds.
3. Release the button. When the tracker vibrates and shows a smile icon, your tracker has restarted.

His tracks steps while he is driving while mine is set on the highest sensitivity and still doesnt track all of the steps I put in during a day. We still use them for all the other functions though.

I don't like that the company upgrades the software every 18 months and so you are forced to buy a new Fitbit. I bought the 2 year warranty as I know this will not work in 18 months. This is my 4th Fitbit and I hope the company stops doing the wacky things to make you get a new one when you otherwise would not need to spend $150

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Fitbit Charge 6 after my Charge 5 started malfunctioning after only 1.5 years (it was stuck in a restarting cycle on the logo screen). I'm hoping this one lasts longer than that. The Charge 6's UI is great, very easy to use. The new band color is nice (a bit more orange than it appears on the picture). The fit and comfort is great as well.
