It’s a good pedometer, but other features are not reliable. It hardly ever tracks my sleep, which is disappointing. Battery only lasts about 24 hours.

Hey there, ElizabethW. We’re sorry you're losing battery life quicker than anticipated on the Charge 6. Here are some tips to get the estimated battery life of 7 days:

      1. Turn off always-on display.
      2. Use phone GPS instead of built-in GPS.
      3. Dim the screen or enable auto brightness.

Sleep tracking not as accurate as before

Been a Fitbit fan for a long time mainly for sleep tracking. I feel the hours recoded by Charge 6 are inaccurate. After having Fitbit on for over 4 years, I quickly noticed the sleep tracking in Charge 6 is somehow off. I wear the watch snug and as per recommendations. Not sure what to do now. I waited over a year for charge 6 as my charge 5 failed and I had my charge 4 on and waiting for charge 6. I like Fitbit but I am little disappointed.

Overall it does what it says it does, however I believe the pedometer feature might be a bit too sensitive. I notice it’s counting things like piano playing and typing which are pretty sedentary activities. I have to remember to take it off when I’m practicing piano.

Hi there, JasonS. Fitbit uses a finely-tuned algorithm to count steps — looking for motion and intensity patterns indicative of walking or running. Arm movements from desk work, cooking, or similar activities can sometimes add a few steps, often giving credit for the brief walking that typically occurs between stationary periods. Fitbit - Charge 6: Room for Improvement

Compared to the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 and 7, this band feels somewhat clunky in its functionality. Key features I miss include: - Nighttime wrist-gesture screen disable. - Dark mode in the mobile app: Essential for comfortable nighttime use. - Subpar battery life. - High price point: Seems overpriced considering the missing features. Furthermore, the band frequently notifies me about irrelevant custom notifications, which is quite irritating.

Thought I'd get the bottom, but only got a washed down version of the Fitbit 5. The exercise list is 40 long and I have to spend 1 min searching the workout to start. While it moves it up, that's a lot to scrolling. This will be the last Fitbit. I'm ready to move to something better.

I finally upgraded from the older Charge 2 that I had for years and I'm very happy with this one. It tracks very well and I like the variety in watch faces. The band is also easier to put on than the silicon bands that came with the Charge 2. The only downside was that using the always on display used a huge amount of battery so I had to turn it off so I wouldn't have to charge the watch daily.
