Supposedly Fitbit was having this issue with lots of them and sent us a brand new one no questions asked. He still loves it

Upgrade from Fitbit Charge to Fitbit Charge HR

Luckily there were plenty of people who wanted my old one. Love the HR especially since I am trying to do more cardio. It tells you when you are at the ideal HR and over/under.
