    This item was purchased as a gift. Heart Rate monitor is OK but the step counter is HIGHLY inaccurate if your work includes a lot of standing still & moving your arms (think hairdresser) in retrospect we should have gotten the clip on, but not sure if that does the heart rate monitoring..

    I have tried a number of similar fitness related trackers with less than spectacular results. The Fitbit tracker is easy to set up and is very user friendly. It is not overly cumbersome and after a while, you forget it is on. I would definitely recommend.

    Keeps you encouraged specially if you compete with your friends. Fairly accurate. Some minor problems with the strap and with syncing to your phone but I called Fitbit and if they can't fix it they send you a new one. You can't go wrong. Loving my purchase

    I wear on my left hand, I'm right handed, selection button is on opposite side for comfort. The Fitbit Web site is a bit confusion also. Not easy to move around in. Have not bluetoothed yet to see phone calls. Its ok, but hard to read, I didn't want to send another 150 for the larger screen.

    Most functions work great. Have had a problem with the altimeter that counts flights of stairs; it is erratic at best and certainly not consistent in count for same activity in the same location. Additionally, have had a problem with the alarm not recognizing changes even after it is sync'd.
