Don't buy it

Now it won't sync, the times is wrong & it's a nightmare to try and get it corrected. I'm waiting on a response from Fitbit on how to return it. Thousands of other people having the same problem (per Fitbit's website/forums). Don't buy it..

Good monitor

I don't think I've done 14 stairs today. I am not sure about the number of steps. You have to swing your arm so if you push a cart, it won't be accurate. For a future model it might be nice to get an oximeter in these things also and blood pressure but then I guess blood sugar might be nice also. We will just be assimilated into Borg.
