    Average Fitness Tracker

Great if you have friends who you are in challenges with - other than that, it is just your basic fitness tracker. I am sure you can find one that tracks steps and activity for a lot less but you pay for the fitbit brand. No bells and whistles, just your average fitness tracker. I am not sure if the heart rate monitor is accurate but I can usually get an idea of when it is faster or slower than normal. I also like the sleep tracker, though it sometimes annoy me when I wear it to bed.

I upgraded to the HR from a Flex and am having great fun with it. It gives much more information and I am able to use it to make better use of my exercise to increase my productivity.

Waste of money - and time.

Why did I succumb to the "be healthy" hype -- I knew better! Not only are FitBits (and similar products) broadly questioned for the accuracy of their "data", it is also a nuisance to set up. As 1 small example, I am an avid indoors (spin)/outdoors cyclist, and related leg movements aren't detected & counted. Also, it does not fit my wrist and is Uncomfortable! (I have small wrists. And while I bought a size small - the smallest - the frame of the design doesn't allow it to wrap "snuggly" around my wrist, and it rests awkwardly on a bone. For this reason, it is also difficult to get good "skin connectivity" for data gathering.) Finally, I don't like wearing it "all the time" and with all wardrobes. I am already a reasonably healthy person with some awareness of my personal "numbers". Perhaps this is best for the individual who just needs some general info/awareness to kick-start their personal fitness journey; the tech geek who simply loves all gadgets; or the person who needs "support" to keep their nose to the grindstone. As for me, big waste of money and can't even find anyone to give it to.

I am in awe of all that the Fitbit HR can do. I had 2 stents put in in January and it has truly helped me to get started on exercising.

Had my FitBit for a few months now. Band has already deteriorated and had to get a new one through FitBit. Unit does not track steps or distance very well. Compared measurements to other units and GPS equipped items and it is way off. FitBit needs to at least allow for a step or stride compensation as all individuals strides are not the same. Save your money and buy a better fitness tracker.

It is interesting to have this information but it has lost some of its novelty after a couple of weeks. Not sure how to use most of the information it provides

I've had this for quite some time now and still use it to monitor health and sleeping patterns. It works great and charges fast. The apps are free to use on your phone or tablet!

Good product for casual and progressive monitoring of activity. Charger cable is absurd. Get the warranty, though. This think has yet to last a year for me...

I love the Fitbit Charge HR. I normally charge about every five days. It is comfortable and lightweight. At first I thought it would be bulky but I don't even realize I have it on.

My Fitbit is a great reminder to get my steps in every day and get moving. I like the competitions with other people to see how they are progressing and to push myself to do more.

Bought two for my husband and I. Worked okay at first but it doesn't count your steps when pushing shopping carts or strollers. This was advertised as "mom friendly" when I bought it which is one reason we bought these. My husband would get 10k steps and I would only get 4k while pushing our stroller, even though we walked together for the same amount of time. This happened every time. I could live with this as it was about 90% accurate when I wasn't pushing anything. However, I was really upset when both wrist bands on the Fitbits started falling apart after only 3 months. After one of the bands came completely off around 5 months we decided to get replacements through the warranty. The replacement process was super easy and customer service was very helpful. One of the replacements was broken and would not charge so we had to get that replaced and pay for the shipping which annoyed me. Unfortunately, the replacements did the same thing the originals did and started falling apart after only 3 months. We stopped wearing them and don't plan on getting anymore Fitbit products.
