    Bought the FitBit Charge HR after reoccurring palpitations kept sending me to the ER. The doctor suggested I purchase it so I can keep track of the palpitations (to differentiate when it was anxiety vs actual heart problems). It worked great the first 3 weeks. After a while, I noticed the Heart Rate feature was off, sometimes by one or 2 beats per minute (compared to manually checking it). Around the month mark, the differences became larger. Almost 2 months later, the Heart Rate feature registers 98-100 bpm before shutting off compared to the 77-88 bpm that is manually (and more accurately) counted. Also, sometimes arm movements count as steps even when you're sitting still. I would think twice about purchasing it, at least until bugs are fixed.
