Customers are saying

Customers admire the Charge HR's heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and step tracking features. Many appreciate its accuracy and motivational aspects, while also noting a comfortable fit. However, some users point to areas needing improvement, such as battery life, water resistance, and band durability. Sync issues were also occasionally reported.

The steps were never accurate. I replaced it with an Apple Watch. Watch was more accurate with steps then fit bit. The only thing I like bed the fit bit was for the sleeping function.

I've been wearing my ChargeHR for about three weeks now and compare it to me pedometer I wear. The ChargeHR detects anywhere from 400-2000+ steps fewer. This is disappointing and as I'm reading more reviews, it's pretty common.

The device itself worked great , and really motivated my wife. The problem is, the straps keep breaking. Fortunately , I purchased the warranty, and best buy replaced the item with no hassel each time.

The resting heart rate is probably the only reading that is close to correct. The steps and active heart rate was off. Not a great product for the active consumer.

I bought this to track my steps and also wanted one with a heart rate monitor. I love it to track steps and connect with other Fitbit family members. Having this on makes me go out there and get 10k steps when I would have stayed inside. I've had no problems with the device and like the caller id feature and sleep tracking function. I also like that it's a watch.

Second time bringing this back to the store. Bubbling up at where the device meets the bands. Let's see if third time is the charm. Not a happy camper.

Frustrated with my purchase, strap warped and now there appears to be a loose fluctuant bubble over the face. It still works, and wear it to show friends what happens to it after a year of use.

After reading the reports on the inaccuracy of the heart rate monitor I decided to return it. I thought I was going to die any second lol also I'm pretty sure I was not burning 3k calories a day.

I bought this as an upgrade to my old fitbit, specifically for the heart rate feature. It is worthless at the gym on any kind of exercise machine, and often very aggravating. very disapointing

I upgraded to the Charger HR from the Flex for the heart rate feature. I had it for over 8 months b4 I upgraded again to the Blaze. While I had the Charger HR I was happy with it. It's pretty accurate in regards to the heart rate feature. The one main thing I disliked is the way it charges. It plugs in to the back of the main part of the device. It felt awkward and it would fall off and stop charging often. Other than that I had some tech issues with syncing with my app. They were app related. I did end up losing my steps when it restated mid day. It happened twice and they offered to replace it for free. I had purchased the warranty from BB, so I used that and upgraded to the Blaze for all the cool features! All in all, the Charge HR is great if u need to track steps, sleep and heart rate. It tracks your workouts, stairs, calories, water intake and other things, but I was most concerned with my steps, sleep and heart rate. I can't close this without saying that it tracks your sleep automatically! You don't have to set it when you go to sleep and wake up like the Flex. That was an awesome feature for me!!! BUT.... If you have the extra 50$ just get the Blaze. It's worth the extra money!

This device is a great concept, but serves very low in execution. It is inaccurate and cheaply made. I had to replace it 3 times b/c the bands kepts breaking.

I like Fitbit the company but will never buy from them again. It falls apart easily. I am on my 4 Fitbit and now my warranty is over.

I had this fitbit less than three months when the plastic band separated from first the sides then the entire unit making it useless.

This item maybe I got a bad one, but wasn't accurate on my steps and I didn't like the fact that the wrist-band doesn't come off either... Took it back to the store for a refund.

Did not use it after the initial one-month honeymoon period. The iPhone app is not that easy to use. Does not have many features. Should have gotten an Apple Watch instead.

I was really excited to get the Fitbit charge hr. I should have waited for the new one. This one is kind of clunky - not that sleek look you want. Other than that it's okay.

I was excited to get a Fitbit. I was definitely disappointed that it left a red mark on my wrist & was very uncomfortable. I couldn't stand the pressure on my wrist.

Poorly built. Fell apart in a couple of months. The only saving grace was the great customer support provided by FitBit. They replaced the unit. Unfortunately, the replacement unit also fell apart within two months. I began the process of having it replaced, but gave up... I didn't want to have to go through using the garbage products for a third time. I'll go with an Apple iWatch instead or as my main desire is to monitor heart rate while cycling, a chest strap monitor.
