    Comfortable and stylish fitness band

I did a lot of research before opting for Fitbit Charge HR. My estimated size was S based on the charts, but I was thankful I tried it on in store, and found the small to be very tight around my wrist. On the functionality side, it works like a charm, automatically counting steps, floors, heart beats and miles travelled. It also tracks your sleep pretty accurately, but I decided to take it off while I sleep as it was a bit uncomfortable. One of the nice things about going to sleep with the band on, though, is that you can set it to wake you up with silent alarms. I was initially concerned about battery life, but the Charge HR lasts for a week with the heart rate monitoring ON. If you turn that off, it easily lasts more than 12 days on a single charge. The fitbit is most fun if you set up teams and challenges with your friends. Happy exercising!

The product was defective and when I tried to return it to Best Buy I was told they could not accept it and I would have to contact the ompany. I did that and could not get a refund. I am very unhappy.

    The best Fitbit to date

I am an OG fitbit user and have always loved their products. This Fitbit Charge HR added the most requested feature to the arsenal. Heart Rate Monitor. A few gripes because i'm sure there is plenty on the positives. The colors... Black seems to be the ONLY neutral color to choose from, this doesn't make sense to me. You can't change the band and/or the color. So more neutral colors would make it easier as bright orange might work with one outfit... but not another. A few options when it comes to colors: White Grey Beige Gold Clear Mine has held up, I know five other people with these (because of my reviews) and two of their fitbits had small issues (one stopped connecting, the other part of the band fell apart) in both cases it was under warranty and bestbuy and fitbit took care of it with no hassle. The heart rate factor seems accurate for resting, not so much for high exertion. Not a big deal for most, what they are finding it seems is that the resting HR can show more about stress and over training than other factors anyway. The app is nice however it takes a while to sync and I haven't seen any real updates for a while. They also haven't release the info to apple health kit although there is work arounds. Overall the best allday tracker out there with a great price, just a few things they need to workout... More sensors would also be nice (i.e. the bodybugg) - looking forward to the next generation.

I had the non-HR fit bit, Charge, but I wanted more features. I returned this item promptly as it was inconsistent reading my activity and heart rate. I switched back to the non-HR version.

The steps were more then what I was stepping. Even when I did not move it was still counting steps. Wasn't to happy about that. So I returned it.

Great size and basic information needed to track your workout. My only problem with it has been accurate tracking into peak zones because the hr sensor fails to read due to sweat. I recommend this watch if you are more int o step count, sleep tracking and working out with HR into the cardio zone only.

    A good investment in yourself

Bought one for myself and my wife. We both love how it motivates us and keeps us honest with ourselves re sleep and exercise patterns. We are just beginning to discover and use the calorie counting tools on the app. Happy I chose this model as the heart rate info is very useful in conjunction with the apps, gives much greater insight into exercise levels and impact on calorie burning.Very happy with this purchase.

As a 72 year old female, I was looking for something that would track the effectiveness of my activities in relation to heart rate, calories burned, and time while in fat burning and cardio levels. This Fitbit filled the bill! Fitbit Charger HR has helped me stay on track to improve my health and strengthen my bones. Tracking my regimen has been a big help in loosing over 20 pounds over the past four months!

It's about the ecosystem not just the product

The fitbit system is really awesome - you CAN make an account with fitbit before even making a purchase if you'd like- just go to fitbit.com to can get an idea of the ecosystem. Depending on what watch you buy you get more features in this system. The website, and phone app sync together. You can use the phone to log what you eat and water intake to ensure your " In calories " are counted against your burned calories. If you want to get really fancy I love combining the Aria scale. Just got that too and it shows weight over time, everytime you step on the scale weight and BMI, and body fat is logged into your ecosystem. Yeah the watch is 150$ and the scale is another $129 but you probably pay that much in a month's cable bill - and what's more important than your health?

The Fitbit is not accurate at all. My son has 500 steps just taking it off the charger. 10k steps within 1 hour. This Fitbit is horrible. I love mine. But not this one

The wrist band of the Fitbit came unglued from the body, making it absolutely useless. I have only used it for 8 months. And no way to change to a new band.

I'm obsessed with the Fitbit. I had a UP24 band for about a year & half. It was OK. I love the Fitbit because it tracks your heart rate. If you're exercising and your phone rings, the caller id will pop up on your Fitbit. There's only one down side. The battery only last for approx. 5 days. But I can live with it because the rest of the features are awesome.

    Lots of issues

I have gone through alot of smartwatches this year and settled on the Charge HR. This is my 2nd one as the first one stopped syncing with any of my computers or phone after a month. One big issue is it would get confused when multiple fitbits are around. This replacement one I got has a messed up face, but I havent addressed it yet as its cosmetic... Losing faith in fitbits quality, but I like the idea. I may trade in for preorder for the Blaze as my wife is also having issues with her Charge HR keeping time and syncing. just not a solid product. also my battery life on this one is about 2-3 days where the previous one was about 4-5days, not 5-7 like advertised. I like the motivation of getting together to exercise and I may be stuck with fitbit brand as most of my family and friends got one this Christmas. With better quality and software fixes this is a solid.

Highly disapointed with this product. How can a wrist band tell how many steps you've taken? It looks nice but so does the money in your pocket.

    Known syncing issues

    Posted .

After numerous chat sessions with customer service, Fitbit has now admitted that they have syncing issues with their Charge HR. Product did work fine for a while, but now is not functional and will not maintain a sync status with my IPhone 6S so I have stopped wearing completely. Visit their website at http://fitbit.link/1TGCzpk. Watch was comfortable, heartrate worked most of the time but syncing issue is unacceptable. Online chat representatives were unwilling to offer hardware solutions, they would only offer troubleshooting options which have not fixed the problem. Situation has been shifted to email based customer service team at this point. They are asking for a third confirmation of the issue and troubleshooting exercise. After this is complete, they may consider hardware replacement. Not a great experience and certainly more hassle then I was looking for with this product. I would not recommend this product.

    I love this fitbit!

I have been using fitbit for a little over a year now. I have the One. It was awesome. Kept with my steps and the flights of stairs calories etc. But I recently move i no longer have stairs. I am also injured from my job so i dont work out as hard. I need something to show my heart rate not just the smaller amount of steps i was getting due to a back injury. The charge does just that. I work out with my weights, les mills combat, or take a brisk walk. And its right on point. I only gave it 4 stars bc i wore it to my job and it waayyyy over counted steps. I use my hands a lot. And if you don't get a screen protector asap you will scuff it badly which sucks. I suggest cutting a old cellphone screen protector or searching one on ebay like i did. But its a tad late for me.
