It's a pretty good investment, only time it reads incorrectly is when I'm on a moving vehicle, since I'm constantly at vehicles at work, I am sometimes not sure how accurate my calories or steps are, but in workout and sleep tracking it's pretty good

Useful Fitness Tool But Could be More Accurate

I like the FitBit but don't love it. It is accurate but not precise in its recording of activity, heart rate and sleep patterns. Still it gives a good general idea of activity. Also, it needs charging every 2-3 days not the 5 days that's advertised.

This is my first FitBit and I am so pleased with it. It is exciting to see how many steps I actually get in, since I have a sit down job. I'm glad that I got the bigger band so that it's not too tight if I'm sweating

I've only had my fitbit for a few days now but so far its great! The App makes it easy to track your progress and I love the fact that it works in conjunction with several online nutrition tracking websites. Its comfortable to wear and easy to use.

Not having used a tracker before, this meets/exceeds expectations. Great to see heart rate tracked, along with miles and sleep patterns. At times feels somewhat uncomfortable on wrist and has random stair count at times. Wish it could be worn all the time (shower, swimming)

I have had multiple activity trackers and the FitBits have been my favorite but particularly the Charge HR. The data is always accurate and I have had no problems syncing with my iPhone or my computer. The technology offered by FitBit once you purchase one of their products is amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an activity tracker.

What more can I say? It does everything that it says it does. The sleep function was off when I first started using it but I can say its about 95% accurate with my sleep pattern. I hope this will help me in my weight loss journey.

I previously owned a Fitbit flex, but the Charge HR is ten times better. I love how it keeps track of everything and helps me reach my goals. I highly recommend for anyone who wants a little extra motivation to reach their goals. It's a great investment!

This is the first I purchase a Fitbit activity tracker, this unit does everything it said it will and the results are amazing. I'm able to monitor sleep and understand my sleeping pattern. I would recommend this products to others as a good investment.

Great tracker and not a bad price for the heart rate monitor ability. I love everything fitbit does. The app works great with this tracker to log a history of your progress. I had this tracker for only one day due to the fact that the clock does not stay illuminated, you have to double tap the tracker or push the button to see the time. And the heart rate information is suppose to stay illuminated while in a heart rate zone, I was in fat burn zone while on a long walk and the heart rate level would not stay on, I had to double tap to see it. I returned this tracker and bought the fitbit Surge and have been very happy with it.

This would be a 5 star if it would have kept working for me. Stopped syncing with my phone 4 different times and was very frustrating. Love that it tracks your sleep habits though. Will probably buy another one at some point.

Needs A Major Tune Up Outside Step Counts and Time

If you want a step counter, there are much cheaper options. It seems to do that within a reasonable margin of error. If you are expecting it to shine on advanced functions... not so much. Pros: Comfortable, fashionable. Keeps good time. Fairly accurate step count. The app is compatible with a number of fitness apps and food logging apps, including Lose It, Sworkit, and My Fitness Pal. Heart rate monitor seems fairly accurate except during a heavy work out where it doesn't match the chest strap's measurements, which could be a big deal if you are targeting your heart zone for a specific purpose, like cardio vs. fat burn. App has a place to log water intake, an eye opener for certain. Calorie tracker allows you to enter foods or scan bar codes off prepared foods, but it provides only calorie information. My Fitness Pal has a much bigger food data base, tracks all nutritional elements and will even import recipes, but the pro is the Fitbit app imports the calories to calculate what you can/should eat for the day based on your weight goals, gain/lose/maintain. Stair climbing seems to be accurate. Be interested to see how it does on mountains. Cons: Automated exercise tracking. Day one, it recorded my walk perfectly. I was so impressed. It also showed up in "Active Minutes." More on that feature later. Day 2. it doesn't record my walk at all other than steps, It doesn't show up in active minutes. But I vary my walks between hills, speed and duration. So Day 3, I go back to the hill walk. No recording. No auto recording of any of my walks since day one. Did all the phone restart, etc. No effect. On a 2 hour duration walk, it records one hour as "active minutes." No recording of the walk outside of step count. Active minutes. this is suppose to detect and record activity that is outside your usual level of activity. it affects the "calories remaining." Who knows what triggers this function. It's not at all reliable. I work at a desk, so it doesn't take much to make me "active." I set it to anything over ten minutes. On Saturday, I did housework all day on my feet and got no active minutes. But Sunday I started seeds and got two hours of active minutes. Fairly strenuous outside gardening for two hours... no active minutes, despite it showing my pulse in the "fat burning" zone. My suggestion, don't rely too much on what it says you can eat calorie wise or you are going to be gaining weight. Sleep tracker -- if you are still in a reclining position, it thinks you are asleep. You can get up and walk around and lay back down and you are "restless" as it counts your steps. Overall, it's an overpriced step counter, given the almost constant inaccuracy. Don't waste the difference in money.

Got this one for my son. He had been begging for one after using the one I got my wife last year. We all watch Amazing Race, and Fitbit was a big deal this season. He got it for Christmas, and was thrilled!! works great so far!

    Fitbit getting better

I love my Fitbit products... I've been using Fitbit since the first one came out and each time I'm happier with the newest one. The only thing I'm not so happy about is the customer service when buying directly through Fitbit. I recommend buying it at Best Buy if possible... They have the best customer service.

Garbage in garbage out. If you do not wear your fitbit all the time then there is really no point in using it. This device needs to be married to your wrist and needs to track all data all the time. Also if you are trying to lose weight, then you have to use the software in conjunction with the calories burned feature of either the app or web based platform. Fitbit built a quality product here but the people who are not happy with it are those who do not have the discipline to input all the data from food consumption.

I have no problems with my Charge HR. I had the Flex for about 6 months and I was happy with it, but I was wanting more from it. The HR has shown me that that, sure the HR portion isn't to accurate but comes pretty close to the machines I use at Planet Fitness. I wore the Flex and Charge HR together for the first couple days to compare and I pretty much came up with equal results. I am very pleased with the HR and would highly recommend this product.

Completely pleased with the Fitbit. It motivates to to keep moving. HR monitor seems to be better then the built in ones on the machines at the gym. I especially like the new type of band very convenient to take off and on.

My sister works graveyard shifts full time, goes to school full time, and she's a single mom. With the little amounts of sleep she gets, she loves to be able to see her sleep pattern with her new charge hr.

This is absolutely perfect! It motivates me to move around, and to reach my fitness goals. I love that it tracks heart rate, and sleep patterns, and it keeps you on track for the weight you want to lose. I love that you can also log the food you eat, and it keeps you on track to let you know if you've gone over or under the limit. I one thousand percent recommend this to anyone who needs motivation for their fitness goals, or just wants a cool gadget to wear.
