Purchased two of the Charge HR in December, one for my wife and one for myself. I liked the simplicity vs the watch products and really looked forward to having a device that would monitor heart rate for all day activities including walking, hiking, biking, skiing, etc. Unfortunately I did not read many user reviews before purchasing and must say I am very disappointed in the HR capability. I have tried everything Fitbit suggests to get this to read reliably; high on wrist, low on wrist, tight, loose, left, right, and used all of the settings available in their software. Regardless it is hit or miss on getting an accurate HR. Often I will stop during a moderate hike and check the monitor as well as take my own pulse. When it is working correctly it is right on. However, it seems more often than not that it is way off by >30%. Because of this I would not recommend the HR and instead recommend only the Charge until the technology is improved.

Fitbit HR is a good step and activity monitor. Heart rate monitor is pretty accurate, and a cool feature to have. Missing certain things like when spinning, it does not register the activity. The app should have an option for activities such as spinning, cross training, weight lifting, and be able to either monitor the intensity or manually adjust it in the app. Other than that I really enjoy the FitBit HR

I am happy with the battery life - a solid 4 days if not set to sync all day. Pulse rate is usually within a few beats of if I were to take it myself. I verified this during a recent physical.

The sync, set up and use was very easy. Was disappointed that it's not water resistant. I had mine for about 3 months and the plastic on the side broke off and then the entire plastic piece on the bottom broke off. Now it doesn't work at all. Fitbit doesn't make it easy to warranty. You have to send it to them first so they can determine if it's under warranty and then you have to wait 4-6 weeks for a new one. I thought I could just take it back to the place I bought it from but that's not the case.

I wear my fitbit everyday, even during my sleep. It has been a lifestyle change to keep on monitoring my daily steps, my sleep, heart rate and stairs count as I improve my overall fitness goals. Functionally, i love this 100%, i just wish that it will be easier and more affordable to change straps and that it is waterproof.

Got this for my daughter. They played around with the wife's fitbit for a year, and wanted one for Christmas. They love looking at the steps, and HR monitoring. Very happy thus far!

Really like this product. Very sturdy and seems to be fairly accurate in measuring steps, distances and floors. If you've worn a watch before, the Fitbit will need to be worn a little higher on your arm for the best heart rate reading. There's also a good app for your iPhone that easily syncs to the device for easy status checks. Only drawback is the display can be hard to see in daylight outside. Overall excellent device.

the fitbit is a great way to keep track of your physical activities during the day. it's also a handy timepiece too. light, snug and very comfortable to wear.

Works great for counting calories and steps, but not too great on distance, and battery runs down quicker than expected like 2 days instead of 5 days.

My fitbit is good so far, the charge doesn't last for 5 days and it doesnt count the stairs on the stairmaster but those are my only 2 complaints

If you're looking to track steps and get a general idea of how active you and your heart are, this tracker is for you. If you exercise with vigor and want to know what you're body is burning in a given workout, Fitbit doesn't give accurate numbers. Go with the Polar line for accurate calories, stick with Fitbit for general activity. Hope this was helpful!

I can see how well I sleep at night. It reminds me to calm down when my heartbeat goes too fast. Good device to keep you on track!

Got this for Christmas and just love it, Syncs to my phone and tracks my activity. I love the sleep tracking to see how well I'm sleeping at night.

Fitbit charge hr is a great tracker easy to use and easy to set up the color is amazing and well designed and a quality product I love this tracker

I had a Charger and I used it for 6 Months. A Good Tracking Device actively tracks all the data. The Bad part is the latch. After Continues remove and wearing. The belt hole gets loosen up and you have to be careful on wearing with swatters and jackets. This will get off the hand frequently. With winter approaching – wearing sweater and jackets and removing them once we get on to the store or mall this comes off along. I was very careful but even though I lost it somehow. The worst part is – Tracking Even customer support cannot track the device if lost or stolen. We will end up buying again a new device. My recommendation don’t by the charger with the clip latch the will come off after few months. And tracking is 0%. Stolen can also be used if he creates a new account and sync the device. Buy with the warranty if you like this product that will at least help you in replacing if lost or stolen.

First off I didn't know about the fact that you could challenge your friends and family when I bought my Fitbit. The challenges have been wonderful in getting you to move, there is something about accountable and others seeing what you are doing or not doing. The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to swing your arm to get credit for your steps.

My problem was that I have to wash my hands all the time and I have to take it off It wasn't working for me. But I like it

I got two of these for this New Year. I am pretty happy with it. It keeps me updated on what I have done or need to do.

I bought this mainly for its headrate feature for when I do my training runs. So far, the heartrate has been fairly accurate and it's nice to be able to look back on my whole workout. However, in the past week I have been using the monitor every single day multiple times a day and in the end it couldn't "take the heat". By the end of only one week owning this device, the screen turned black and the screen no longer will turn on. I'm assuming this is from sweating in it, but it is supposed to be sweat resistant. I am definitely taking it back and will go back to researching heart rate monitors . I'm very disappointed because while it was working, I was very pleased with it.
