I received a fitbit charge HR for Christmas. I wore it for about 6 weeks, and was pretty happy with it. After 6 weeks, it started loosing time, then wouldn't sync. Called customer service who walked me thru a factory reset etc to make it work again. When that didn't work, they sent a new one to replace it. Good job to customer service. Each call and restart process would take over an hour, with no results. Had the replacement for about a week, when it too would not sync. Called customer service again, went thru all the reset, add a device, etc. Nothing worked. Customer Service has now "escalated" my report. After calling daily for several days, I got an email stating that I would be sent another replacement. I replied that I wasn't interested as I do not have the time nor patience to set up, restart, add a new device on a weekly basis. The fitbit seems to stop working once version 102 is reached. I have become very frustrated.

Great product. I was able to set this up with ease and no confusion. Highly recommend to someone who walks a lot or works out a lot, I use it for both. I upgraded from a Fitbit zip to the charge HR and don't regret it at all!

    The Beginning . . .

I really think devices like this will evolve to become an important tool in health care. Although this device is probably not the most advanced, it does provide enough information to allow me to adjust my activities to meet goals. I really look forward to getting more and more data, and I am hopeful that it will improve the quality of my workouts.

This is my second Fitbit Charge HR. It was easy to install and replace the older one on the iPhone. For a beginner to intermediate fitness person, this is a perfect tool to track steps, miles, heart rate, sleep, etc.

My husband and I got matching Fitbits for Christmas and so far we really like them. I love the fact that you can pair it with your phone so it will vibrate and caller ID will pop up when you are getting a call. The sleep monitoring is also really interesting. I would definitely recommend this model to anyone looking for a fitness tracker.

    Beware Android Lollipop Users

Charge HR works great. It does not, however, sync well with Android Lollipop. After a week of customer service calls, turning things on/off, deleting and reinstalling the Fitbit app, etc. I finally discovered what the android forums are all talking about - there is a bug in the Fitbit app that causes instability after the Lollipop upgrade. Syncs fine with the computer, but not my phone. I returned it. Will have to find a tracker that syncs reliably.

My fitbit has made me obsessed with hitting my step goal each and every day. I don't know if it has significantly helped me loose weight, but it does motivate me to get off the computer chair every so often to take a walk. My wife finds it a little obnoxious when I tell her about my step count for the day, but I get a kick out of it. The look of the this fitbit was what got my attention. There isn't a huge display. Tells the time and doesn't have a bunch of bells and whistles. Being a minimalist type of person, this is perfect for me. The step tracking seems to be fairly accurate as well. I've read that the heart rate monitoring isn't spot on, but well within the range of error. Highly recommended.

I ordered my Charge HR online and had it the next day. It says that the battery will last 5 days but I found out different on mine and that by the next day, it already needed to be charged which may have just been a faulty unit but that combined with that when I received my HR it was also missing items in the box and they were backordered 4 weeks out from Fitbit so I just returned it and went with a different brand of activity monitor.

I purchased this for my friend who is starting out excising. They absolutely loves it because for a newbie it gets you going from tracking food intake along with water intake. The sleep mode was difficult to get use to because they wer not use to wearing it while sleeping. Overall they are in love with it!!

Step count is way off while driving

Over all the watch is not worth the money. If you drive often the counts will be way off. I logged 5,000 steps in 3 hours while driving. The battery does not last as long as it says it will.If I could delete the steps while driving I would keep this product, however there is no way I have found to do this.

The tracking activity is great. When you see your steps that's good. The sleep monitor tracker is a great way to see how you rest. It's best when you download the app and then compete with your friends. Good motivator to move.
