Does not display pulse for more than 15 seconds

Seems to b e a very nice unit with lots of features. I bought it to monitor my pulse in real time, not just the rate. The display only stays on for 10 to 15 seconds rather than at least a minute or two.Too bad this information was not available prior to purchase.

Pretty happy with the fitbit charge hr. Wish the battery stayed charged longer, it was completely water proof, and that there was a dressier version of it.

    Great Device

This is my third FitBit device as I have progressed up the product ladder. I would definitely recommend the Charge HR for anyone that's considering a wearable fitness device. The functionality is good and the web portal is outstanding and extremely useful. The only reason that I'm not giving this FitBit product five stars is because most of their products tend wear out or need replacement within a year. That's not all bad because they warranty their products for a year, and I've been able to fairly easily make warranty claims when necessary.

HR readings are way off, software is buggy

I bought it several weeks ago. I've also used Jawbone Up for half a year, so I can compare. I wouldn't recommend it to others. Cons: - it's a bit optimistic on step counts - their software is buggy and less useful than Jawbone's - it doesn't track deep sleep - it wears pretty quickly - you have to press a tiny button to see time and other stats and when you have sleeves, it becomes inconvenient; so it's not a replacement for your watches, I used my phone more frequently then fitbit to check time - and the biggest disappointment is HR... it showed figures below 90 when my heart was really pounding with other HR monitors showing 150+ and it was the only reason I bought it Pros: - you can see your stats on little screen, but as I said it's not convenient to turn it on - you don't need to press a button when you go to sleep, it tracks sleep automatically; accuracy isn't great though

    Disappointed with the Charge HR

I have used all of the earlier Fitbits, loving each and every one. Encourage me to work out. The Charge HR will not sync, lost time and cannot be repaired. They sent me a new one and within two weeks same problem. I have read the reviews on fitbit blog and tried every trick they offer to fix the HR with no success. I spent over an hour with a representative trying to fix. Will not sync with my phone correctly, and cannot sync with either my Mac or my iPad. They should pull this from the shelves until they have a fix.

    Not accurate at all

After a painful process attempting to buy this unicorn, I had to drive to the next town over to pick it up. After 3 days I returned it. Just by moving my arm I was gaining footsteps. I know it won't be entirely accurate but upon waking the next morning, which is correctly marked my 'wake time' I had already walked 1,300+ steps. If it's considering me sleeping, why would it count steps? I was continuously gaining steps while sitting at my desk typing, whoa that sentence would have been 16 steps! The second morning I woke up to find I had miraculously hiked 20 floors in my sleep. By EOD I had climbed a total of 70, btw I work on the second floor and never left the building or my floor that day. The third night it didn't realize I was sleeping so never recorded any sleep metrics. Heart rate was cool and fairly accurate, but not very comfortable further up my arm as suggested for best readings. It was kind of fun tracking all the metrics, but will wait until something more accurate comes along. I'm already pretty active and think buying a chest strap to monitor my HR during workouts would be more beneficial. I asked to exchange the purchase to a second one, in case mine was faulty, but they had no way of exchanging it or even requesting one be held on the next shipment, which was frustrating, thanks for little to no service BB. Amazon will get my business when I am ready to try a new model.

This activity wristband has everything you need at an affordable price. If you are a fitness enthusiast then this is a must-have. The other activity bands were more expensive and required separate accessories, but this one does everything and more.

I used the regular Charge for a year before buying the HR version and the One before that, and I've loved them all. The first one had an issue a few months after I bought it, and the company sent me a new one, very few questions asked. My HR has worked exactly as it should for 5 months now, and I still love it. It is so easy to track steps, distance, food and calories, and sleep, and it all automatically downloads to the app for quick reference. I am impressed with the products as well as the company, and have absolutely no complaints about either.

    Worth it!

I really like how customizable it is. You can determine which stats you want to see. Only problem is that if the band breaks, you have to buy a whole new tracker. Even if the tracker itself is perfectly fine.

I have a heart condition and have to keep track of my pulse so I really needed the HR. It is as accurate as my doc when my BP and pulse are taken. I love the way it counts my steps and my friends and I can keep track of each other. It also let me know how well I'm sleeping.About the only negative is that it's almost invisible in the bright sun and I have to use my other hand to cycle through to find what I'm looking for. I would purchase it again.

Love the functions of the Fitbit HR however, it's claim to hold a charge for 5 days isn't true. I have already had a replacement because my first one completely died after a few weeks. My second holds a charge for 2.5 days if I'm lucky. Wouldn't buy again.

    Great features, short life

First thing I will say is that I love my Fitbit as far as its ability, its accuracy, and its integration with the app. Now with that said, I do not like the physical build and quality of the product. I purchased my Fitbit in July 2015. After about 5 months the bad started to come unglued and an air bubble formed under the skin near the screen. It held on for about 2 more months or so then the band completely came off, would not stay on without duct tape, and the physical device underneath had broken in half. (The plastic had broken and I could see the internals.) I called Fitbit and they send me a free replacement within days. I was extatic. Well now, sitting here a year later, I am in a similar boat. It started falling apart around the 5 month mark and is now holding on (poorly) via superglue. I also know four other people who are on there 2nd Fitbit after their first fell apart, and their second is hanging on by a thread. At this point, while I love the product's features, I'm not sure if I can justify spending money on a Fitbit product that's going to last me only 5 months or so. Maybe newer models have better build quality? I'm not sure.

My favorite features: -customize watch face -with a flick of your wrist, the clock face with turn on -tapping on the screen will change what you see -the app is easy to use!
