    Great Fitness Tracker

This is my second fitness tracker. My previous tracker was the Jawbone UP 24. A few things that factored into my decision to purchase the Fitbit Charge HR. 1. Heart rate monitor 2. Automatic sleep monitoring 3. LED display One thing I wish their app supported on my mobile device is the ability to track more types of workouts. They only provide a limited set of choices (hiking, walk, run). Otherwise it is a great device and would highly recommend it to others.

Great for daily activities, less great for running

The fitbit charge hr is great for every day activities, walking up stairs, walking around my neighborhood, etc. The only real issue I've found is calculating mileage (not steps, which seems very accurate) when running/jogging/brisk walking on the treadmill. It seems to calculate 80% of the distance that the treadmill calculates, but about 10% more calories burned.

I got the fitbit charge hr about a month ago now. I have always been active but was curious how far I walked a day at work. Wow 10-12 miles. What an eye opener. But since getting it I have been more aware of my calories burned and keeping track of what I eat so it really encourages awareness. I have lost 5 lbs already, so i would definitely recommend it if you want to exercise and lose weight. Great product lasts about 5 days per charge. Takes some adjustment to get your stride dialed in, but very easy.

I like the features on the Fitbit HR. It monitors the steps you take, your heart rate, flights of steps, and even your sleep patterns. Overall, it is fairly accurate. Heart Rate - I compared my Fitbit reading with my doctor's reading and the Fitbit reading was 10 beats higher. Steps - Your steps can add up quickly if you are wearing it while involved in activities such as riding a horse -- it obviously measures steps based on certain types of movement.

My Husband & I both bought one of these. We have had some issues with recharging them and also getting them to Sync to our cell phones. Luckily, we've been able to mess with them &/or troubleshoot everything so far. Depending of the type/activity level, the steps and calories counts can be way off. I do like the Heart Rate feature, although I'm not sure how accurate it is.

I wear my fitbit on my non dominant hand but have it set to my dominant one. I find this provides me with an more accurate step count. I used cetaphil to clean my fitbit daily but I still seem to end up with a rash if I wear it in the same spot too long. I have to throw it on the charger about every 5 days since I have the blue-tooth on my phone turned off till I want to log my steps. Overall I really like the product but still question my EMF exposure.

The new Fitbit HR is awesome. Does a great job in the tracking of steps, floors climed, cal burned, and heart rate. I was skeptical at first about the calibration for heart rate but I was able to utilize my buddies (professional health carer's) equipment and verified the the Fitbit was within 1 heartbeat of the equipment. I would have given 5 starts but I am having issues with tracking via phone... But it seam to by related to my phone and not the Fitbit.

I had an original Fitbit, but I wanted to keep track of various bits of other activities. I research iWatch, Pebble and a few others before I settled on the HR. I like the choice I made. It keeps track of everything I was interested in. I like that it notifies me when I get a call so I can keep my phone on vibrate. Only bug is how it calculates stairs, I pretty sure I have never climbed 240 flights of stairs in a day, but my tracker has counted that before. Everything else is very accurate.

Replaced the Fitbit Force with Charge HR after I sent in for the recall refund. It does much the same as the Force and adds a heart rate monitor. It works using LED lights that reflect onto the skin at the wrist. No chest strap. I found the measurement to be inaccurate especially during intense exercise (compared with manually palpating). It also takes a while to adjust to changing levels. Anyway, it's fun to play around with and the wristband is much better

Needed a gadget to track my activity. Fitbit Charge HR fit the bill. Lightweight, easy to use and I like the fact that it also keeps track of you heart rate. Although it's not too big of an issue, I wish the battery charge last d a bit longer. Otherwise, I'm quite pleased with the purchase.

    Best Dads Day Gift!

We purchased the FitBit for my Dad for Fathers Day! Absolute hit!!! Favorite feature would be the heart rate monitor. My Aunt recently passed from a heart attack so the monitor helps push my Dad to make sure he is taking care of his health. Also, the pedometer is created a health competition between my family with everyone always wanting to have the most steps for the day! Only part I might change would be the digital screen size....Dads eyes aren't the best. Other then that, I Couldn't be happier!!!

According to the instructions, you have to wear the band really high on your wrist -- well above your wrist bone. It's a bit uncomfortable for me, and it doesn't stay there, anyway. Also, you have to charge it a lot. I get about four days out of an average charge. It uses a non-standard cable to charge, so be prepared to buy one or two extras if you travel.
