I liked the size and color. I did not like the small display or the fact that the heart rate was not a continuous read out. Not good for hiking because you always have to push a button to see the heart rate.

Too big as a fitness band, too limited as a watch

After several failed Jawbone UPs, I decided to try the Fitbit. I chose the Charge HR as a potential alternative to getting the Apple Watch, as I wanted the added functionality including the HR tracking. In the end, I ended up returning it because its too big IMHO to wear as a separate fitness band and too limited in size and function to replace a watch. I was also disappointed in the sleep tracking data vs. what the Jawbone products offered. I've found I can get comparable sleep tracking to the UP using my iPhone itself and that solution is still better than what the Charge HR data provided.

I love it. It was a birthday present from my husband. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because it only holds a charge for 2 days not the 5 that is stated.

I liked it. One thing I noticed is that when I am driving it's counting steps. I don't know how it's doing that. But it keeps me motivated when I see my performances for the day.

I am a huge Fitbit fan. Everyone in my family has one. The only problem I have with the Fitbit HR is that it won't last more than 12 months before falling apart (Literally). I don't know one person whose Fitbit lasted more than 12 months. Google it for yourself and see. The up side is Fitbit knows of the issues and will replace your Fitbit within 12 months no questions asked. Hopefully the newer model lasts longer. I like the HR for simplicity sake and it doesn't replace my regular watches like the new ones do. Oh, one more thing. The second problem is that the Fitbit HR has frequent syncing problems. The solution is also on Fitbits website which instructs you to reset it. I've done this several times and resetting it does work. Believe it or not I would buy another Fitbit regardless of these issues. The company is trying to improve. I recommend Fitbit to people. Just be aware of the known issue and maybe buy one of the new models that looks like a watch (and is built with a metal frame) if you don't mind not wearing an actual watch anymore.

Great activity tracker for my wife when she was pregnant. It tracked her steps and her heartrate, which her doctor loved. She still uses it and our daughter is now 2 years old.

The issue that I had with the device was the battery life. It worked beautifully but in order for all of the features to work, I had to charge it every other day.

We did alot of research and ended up choosing the Charge HR over the the trackers because of the consistent heart rate monitor and price. It has beat all of our expectations.

This tracker works great. I can set the alarm to wake me up and it's quite accurate on the amount of steps. I also like that it has the time so it can be used as a watch.

I didn't realize how few steps I walked each day. Now most days I hit 10K. I really like that my incoming phone calls vibrate on my Fitbit. I can set alarms on it too.
