Love my Fitbit Charge but it is impossible to read when using outside. I have to shield the screen to see anything and even then it is difficult to read. It was a disappointment after all my other Fitbits which were much easier to read in all light conditions.

Excellent motivation tool for people who are looking to increase their activity level but don’t need too much detail on the raw ‘science’ of it all. My primary complaint is that it intermittently stopped counting steps after ~ a year.
