needs app to be functional

Initially had problems counting steps and had to return. The new one has issues with the heart rate monitor and also keeping time. You have to constantly sync wih the app to keep it functional. My wife has the Garmin Vivosmart and has never had a problem with it.

Interesting features but uncomfortable to wear

If band tension is reduced for comfort it may not record data properly. If snug it tends to irritate my skin. Display is small and not visible unless you push a button or shake your hand to activate it--annoying if you want to use it in place of a standard wristwatch.

The battery on the Jawbone lasts about 3 times as long. Most likely due to the display on the Fitbit. A longer battery life would get a higher rating. Would love to combine the apps for the Jawbone abd Fitbit, that would be great!
