This is the second device of this kind I have tried, and it is the far superior option. Set up was a breeze. The app is user friendly. I find it incredibly useful for an alarm clock as it vibrates my wrist gentle to get up in addition to the other features. It has room for improvement, specifically with the step counter. If I'm typing at my computer, it registers additional steps, and if I'm carrying my purse up the stairs, it doesn't register those steps. Opportunity for improvement, but I still love it.

I love my ChargeHR. My only complaint is that I wish I could see the battery life on the device all the time. It does give you a warning when it is running low and e-mails you as well, but I prefer being able to check it without logging into the dashboard before going away for a bit. This might not be an issue for people who use the app. I would still buy it despite this though. The other features work great.

I wear my Fitbit Charge HR everyday. It helps me monitor my activity and heart rate. I like the way it monitors my sleep patterns.

    Not Loving It

I had a FitBit Flex for several years and loved it. When it finally died on me I decided to "upgrade" to the Charge HR. I am not loving it. I do like that it records my heart rate and I like the stairs climbed feature. I do not like that it is not waterproof. I do not like that it needs to be charged every other day. I feel like I have to have it off more than on and therefore miss out on recording steps, etc.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. Not only does it show her resting heart rate and do all the other Fit Bit stuff, but when a phone call comes in, it notifies her and tells her who is calling. It's great because now I can get a hold of her when her phone is on vibrate and in her purse. She can also discreetly check to see who is calling if she doesn't want to be rude or obvious. It's also the smaller size and it fits her perfectly.

I'm so glad I made the decision to purchase. I've lost 9Lbs since with monitoring my exercise & calories via Fitbit! It's exciting to be a part of the daily and weekly fitness challenges with your Fitbit connections. No need for a personal trainer as long as there's a healthy competition to "Keep it Moving" with Fitbit friends. There were 2 occasions the clocked stopped on the Fitbit. The Fitbit support team walked me through that issue.

I upgraded from my Fitbit Flex to the Fitbit Charge HR and it was a good decision overall. The step counter is as accurate as the Flex and I find the heart rate monitor reliable for the most part. The only negative is, the new watch like strap can cause serious skin irritation. Unlike the Fitbit Flex, you can put it on and forget about it, with the Charge HR, you'll need to remove it often to give your wrist a break. Overall, I think it was still a great buy but wish the design is less intrusive to the skin.

I like the heartbeat monitor but the App doesn't log food correctly in its math equation. I records stairs when I haven't gone up any and it doesn't record proper distance when I use machines at the gym. It does not have an off capability so it records wrongly when flying, riding a motorcycle and a number of other activities. It also says I'm sleeping when I watch tv at night. Overall it's not perfect...

When I tried to change this item for a larger size, the sales associate told me I had to pay the price difference because it was no longer on sale. Rather than pay $30 extra, I returned it and bought a Samsung Gear from a friend. I never got to wear the Fitbit, but love my Gear. Several friends have Fitbits, so I know they are good. I just didn't care for the BBY policy. My only complaint would be that the sizing on the box is a little deceptive. Or, maybe my wrist are bigger than I imagined. :)

Great all around device. I had a Nike Fuel before this Fitbit. I like the Nike Fuel battery gauge as it notified you in advance of a low battery. The Fitbit gives very little warning before it dies. Fitbit is a little larger profile than the Fuel. I like the heart rate function of the Fitbit. Nike did not offer that feature.
