It works as promised and I've worn it every day but one, when I forgot and left it charging, since I bought it. I've had no skin problems under it and I'm allergic to everything. The only reason I can't give a 5-star review is because it sometimes takes a long time to sync, it doesn't always sync well with other apps, and the heart rate monitor is touchy. I can't wear it on the inside of my wrist, like I would like, and it has to be positioned just right to get a proper reading. It is definitely not a medical grade monitor. Don't use it for anything other than a simple exercise tool to assist in reaching target heart rates and monitoring recovery times.

Loved everything about it until about 3 days into wearing it my wrist started hurting as if it were bruised. Wasn't too tight, was caused by the heart rate sensors. Looked at other reviews and saw a lot of others that it was happening to also. Returned it sadly.

Heart rate is never correct. I know this because I have equipment at work that I take my hr. Also, most of the time it displays dashes instead of a rate. The alarm never goes off. The caller id from my phone never works, and the steps do not count as I am walking. Horrible purchase.

Really good battery life and good HR rating

The only reason I am discounting 1 star is the user interface. It is not very intuitive how to look at your data using the app. Once you figure out how to read the data especially the HR data when you work out. It records your resting HR when you sleep. Speaking of sleep, it will automatically know when you go to sleep and wake up. It will record your restless minutes during your sleep. I would recommend this product if you want to get a better accurate reading on burnt calories. Best of all, Fitbit has an excellent customer service.

    Wonderful for motivation!

I love this product! I really gets me motivated to exercise more and eat right. If you use the fitbit how it was meant, recording meals and tracking your progress, you'll find yourself motivated to be more active and live a much healthier and more productive lifestyle! I certainly did. The only difference I've found between the Fitbit Charge and the Fitbit Charge HR is the heart rate monitor and the screen that you can use to frequently view your current progress. Believe me though when I say that it is totally worth the extra cost.

    Love my Fitbit!

I got the Fitbit HR to keep track of my walking distance and heart rate during. I walk three to three and a half miles every morning. I now also love seeing how long I slept and how many times I wake or are restless during the night. I see the analysis of everything on my iPhone. On days I walk and go shopping or do things I get my 10,000 steps. Otherwise I find myself having to walk around the outside again later to get my 10,000 steps. I love how my Fitbit buzzes and flashes to tell me I got my goal for the day....10,000 steps.

I simply do not like the item, the design or fit. I used to wear the Nike Fuel Band & to me this item just didn't work for me. I wish I could return it but I threw away the packaging.

The Geek Squad gave 101% to make Fitbit work for me, however, Fitbit changed its workability with cell phones and deemed it would no longer program into my phone. What a shame! No warning, just cut off from service in an Fitbit upgrade.
