I got this after I bought my husband one as a gift. It's a pretty handy little thing. It does make you more aware of how much you are or aren't moving around. I like the sleep tracking, now I know why I stay tired all the time. I rarely get 8 hours of sleep and just was not aware of that fact for some reason. Also I love the caller ID, now I can quickly tell who's calling and if it's worth digging my phone out of my pocketbook.

I purchased the HR Fitbit for my wife to track the amount of steps she was taking at work. She soon set a goal of 10,000 steps (about 5 miles) a day. she and I would walk together after work. the device motivated my wife and she has started a walking group that walks at least 10,000 steps. the fit bit has several other features although my wife mainly uses it to track her steps. It is a good piece of equipment and I would recommend it.

The Fitbit Charge HR is great for tracking activity and sleep everyday. I love that it counts my steps and active minutes everyday, and provides up-to-date motivations and weekly summaries of how I'm doing. The sleep tracker is very useful to see how much sleep I'm actually getting at night, though it's not always completely accurate but can be adjusted. The app is super easy to use and compiles all the information, including monitoring your weight and making eating plans.

As a health product, it's good. But as a watch, it's not really good. The sensitivity doesn't seem work too well when trying to read the time. It does not respond half time when my arm is raised, and occasionally comes on at night and is quite bright when I'm trying to go to sleep. What I really like about it is to look at our heart rate trends. It's great at recording your heart rate and giving you more detail on your workout.

My wife loves this new Fitbit HR that I got her. She's a kindergarten teacher and she easily logs 10k steps a day. It seems to track outdoor exercise very well. However, it does not seem to track steps when the elliptical machine very well, and not on the exercise bike at all. The device is probably not made for tracking on these machines,.. which is a shame. But, if you don't use these machines, then it'll work great for you.

Product does everything is says its going to, but who really needs half of this. The best feature is the heartrate monitor but it doesn't sync very well so every time I login I only get old data. Not very useful. Overall its an ok product, if you want something that tracks your steps.

This fitness tracker is durable and easy to use. My wrist is very small so it is somewhat bulky for me specifically but not too bad. It notifies me of calls which is great. It would be great if it notified me of texts. That is the next model up, but that is much larger and this model is big as it is. So all in all I really like this tracker. It tracks my sleep as well. I have to charge the battery about every 3 days or so.

I enjoy my fitbit as it easily allows me to track my activity level throughout the day. It motivates me to reach my daily step goal of 10,000 steps. I also enjoy using the fitbit as a watch and don't wear my regular watch any longer. You can also have fitbit friends for extra motivation.

If you are a walker this watch is for you. It is accurate. When paired with the phone app it gives you a lot of information. It allows you to connect with friends and tackle motivational challenges. I am a jogger. I find the watch to be less accurate for a jogger. I could use my phone app to get an accurate figure but that means I need to run with my phone. The whole point of the watch was so I didn't need to carry my phone

Overall I love my new Fitbit Charge HR but I have had issues with it just stopping recording my workout during the middle. Also the battery will only last me 2-3 days. It has certainly helped me to get a better idea of my calories in and out and to see how more active I need to be.

The Fitbit Charge HR is a great activity tracker and app that no only logs my step count, distance walked, and heart rate, but it also logs sleep (including awake and restless minutes). It also tracks water and food intake by manual logging into the app. The app is easy to use and I love competing with my husband on a daily/weekly basis as to who gets the most step counts. This is a fantastic resource for anyone who is wanting to stay fit or get in better shape.

Good Device needs better iPad Support

The Fitbit works really well, despite occasionally short changing on stairs. The iOS app, however, is designed for an iPhone, which limits things that can be done. Would really like an ability to get time information from the heart rate trace. More generally, workouts defined online don't transfer to the iPad, unable to rename an exercise if you labeled it wrong initially. Calorie adjustments for portion size is defective.

I love my Fitbit Charge HR. Being able to track my activity along with my heart all day long is great! It has a more secure buckle, a digital readout, automatic sleep detection, heart rate monitor, call notifications, silent alarms, and an improved mobile app. All this helps keeps me on track and motivated to achieve my fitness goals. I love the Fitbit Charge so much that I posted a full review on my blog at www.inspiredtechlife.com. check out my full review there.
