First Fitbit would not connect to Fitbit.com. Even the Best Buy Rep could not get it to connect. Returned first one and got another one. I have not had any problems with the second Fitbit. I like being able to see daily progress and being able to compete with friends. Cons: Bulk and hard for a small wrist

I ordered the small and I was a little worried, but it fits great! I have three links left. This is the same way the Flex small band fit. Love the auto sleep tracking! Can't get my Galaxy Note 4 to show notifications yet or I would give 5 stars.

I am so happy with the Fitbit HR. It has me completely motivated to get up and move, I even started hiking to reach my goals. Friend challenges help us reach our daily goals at least 5 days out of 7! At almost 40, I'm in the best shape I've been in since high school!

I love my fit bit HR, however, I had to take this one back because I got the wrong size. Make sure before you cash out that you have the correct size because it comes in large and small. Also consider any allergies to rubber materials. You must keep your fit bit and skin clean in order to avoid skin irritation.

I love the new HR. I feel it tracks sleep better than previous models. My only complaint is that if it isn't worn in the right spot it has difficulty reporting accurate HR. It took me a few workouts to figure out correct placement. I also would recommend trying both arms in different places until you find the most accurate reading.

I am very happy with my Fitbit. I am not obsessed about exercise but I am working out, going for hikes, and really enjoy being able to track food, sleep, and other activities in my account. It took a while to get used to not wearing a watch but I am completely comfortable with it now. This will not end up in a junk drawer. :)

Great at tracking heart rate but not that accurate tracking distance. Will give you steps by just moving your arm. Sleep tracker is just OK as well but thinks you are sleeping if you are just laying still. But better than not tracking any of these things. It at least makes you aware of them which is good.

Helps as a motivational tool to keep me exercising until I attain my goal. Interesting to see heart rate during exercise. Logging of food not as efficient as I'd like, but trying it. Can't seem to go back a day in logging if forget to it.

Purchased the FitBit for my wife and I. We wanted something to keep us motivated with a routine and being active. The fitbit, its app and all the helpful information and tips are great. She likes to try to keep up with me in terms of steps so its become a loving competition. My wife thought the Charge would look to big on her wrist. But I talked her into getting it with me because of the heart rate. So we have matching ones. The Charge looks slick and functions pretty smooth. Shows all you need on the actual watch. Plus the app works wonderful. Happy I purchased these for us.

I love this fitbit. I feel the wrist band is a lot better than flex's, and I have not broken out like I did with the force. My only issue is that the battery doesn't last as long as I would like, especially if monitoring your HR all day.

I bought the Charge first and it was nice. However I wanted the heart rate monitor so I went and pi ked this up also. The band on this one is much better. It's a watch band instead of a snap band. The heart monitor is pretty accurate. Over all this is the same as the Charge, with a few tweaks that make it worth the extra 20 bucks.

    fitbit Charge HR = NOT

fitbit's entire ecosystem of products and its accompanying online reporting platform really are the enchanted forest of fitness tracking which is as yet unparalleled by any of the other fitness systems out there. I will give them this. I kept the Aria scale and am keeping my fingers crossed that it will someday talk to my iPhone's Health app and not just their own proprietary fitbit app. Third party apps which will shuttle data out of fitbit and into other systems have been written, but I have yet to go that far to support my desire for one, comprehensive system that supports my movement activities and thirst for thumping bass while doing it. fitbit Charge HR was just OK on the wrist. The heart rate monitor thingy on the back of the 'face' left a strange little depression in my skin after a day of wear that wasn't exactly fun. It was pretty much always on my wrist because sleep tracking was one of my goals for the purchase, so over time I am sure that this would have become troublesome. Its tiny, hard little buttons had to be pressed to peep out any kind of data on its microscopic little display, which got annoying after a while. Its squared off little face and kind of bland looking band with altogether too big, silver buckle are no match for the variety, sleekness and sheer beauty of the Apple Watch's design. I'm sorry fitbit--I know it hurts. Tracking your overall activities, of which sleep and continuous heart rate were most important in my choice of a wearable, has unfortunately still got a lot of moving parts to it. iPhone 6S user that I am, I am currently still figuring out the workflow of apps (used to be an avid Digifit app user with a Zephyr heart rate monitor chest strap). I wanted the additional data of continuous heartrate at the wrist. fitbit seemed inherently incapable (unwilling) to make the whole using a third party fitness tracker app with GPS work with their system, so don't expect to see your Charge HR connect and report data to anything but the fitbit app, which is rather limited, pairs to the device using bluetooth and sucks an iPhone 6S battery quite dry in a short outdoor cardio session with GPS turned on. In my fitbit app, I either got duplications of exercise data or none at all in my reports, depending on a persnickety combination of what things I did to engage the variety of start buttons at my disposal (the device itself, the fitbit app, or a third party app). Not cool. It would be awesome if coder nerds for all the companies in this sector could work towards some handshaking between the disparate apps, heart rate monitors, GPS trackers and phones, oh and let's not forget the built in Health app inherent to iOS devices like mine. As good for users as this would be, perhaps it is not happening because it isn't so good for business (?). If this review is already making your head spin, just know that I returned the fitbit Charge HR and downgraded to a fitbit One and then I finally caved and bought an Apple Watch to just get it all over with. Hopefully the next watch update will bring things together more elegantly. Either that or I will surrender to third party apps to get my digifit data out of the digifit system and into Apple Health and others, like My Fitness Pal, etc. Bummed that I can no longer use Digifit. That was a sweet little fitness tracker, but alas, heart rate at the wrist has drawn me away forever, or at least until Digifit writes an interface that will get heart rate data in from my Apple Watch. :)

I bought this for my wife. I have been using this same tracker for about 6 months and love it. Tracks everything you need from basic steps to heart rate during exercise to actual calories burned during exercise activities. Charge lasts 4-5 days and recharges quickly. Have been 100% satisfied with this Fitbit activity tracker.

I waited a long time for the HR to be released, and purchased as soon as it was available. Technically, I love it. Functionally, there are a few things that could be improved. The display is almost impossible to see in the direct sunlight. Additionally, the battery life is very short. Otherwise - I love it!!

it is light weight, durable, flexible. Before I bought it I thought it would be clunky and in the way. Surprisingly, it wasn't. It's helped me be more active. The only problem is that the battery doesn't last as long as I thought it would. The box says it lasts up to a week. I charge it overnight and it lasts about 4 days.

Wearing the Fibit is a great reminder to get me moving everyday. You don't realize when you work in an office how little or how much exercise your getting daily. The only downfall is I wish you could push a button to see how much battery life is left instead of it appearing when it is already low.
