My fitbit is constantly dying, it shows weird symbols when I look at heart rate and does not sync well with software on phone.

Love the Fitbit and what it tracks along with a caller ID. However I am disappointed in the durability of Fitbit. The screen is easy to get scratched. The flexibility isn't great. Hard to get on and off with the buckle.

It does a good job of tracking steps. Although it could be much more accurate its good for a "general" idea of how active you really are. If you don't sync with your device often it takes a few minute to catch up.

Like most technology items these days the fit bit has multiple options that are probably great for those that care to learn them all, however I'm mainly using it to count steps and test heart rate periodically.

Just didn't like the way the band laid on my wrist. I am not a workout person but like keeping track of steps etc. heart rate wasn't something I really would have used. Other than that like the other features

At first I was thrilled with my purchase. Fast forward a year and 3 replacements later...not so much. When it works it's great. Though customer service was great with replacing them, not worth the hastle

Just a gadget! It was a waste of time and money. If you are going to get one, make sure it is of high quality easy to put on and provides multiple activities

It did what it was suppose too but after a year the battery went bad. Instead of sending it in I purchased a new Fitbit with more functions.

Inaccurate heart rate measurements compared with stethoscope and pulse oximeter, (husband is physician) irritated wrist, totally inaccurate reading of steps when on treadmill holding rails, faulty concepts.

Bought this for my wife for mother’s day a few years ago. It has basic tracking options. I would go with a newer version that has more functionality and also waterproof.

    Awesome Product, Incorrect Sizing

    Posted .

I was able to order my FitBit Charge HR-Small, ship to store, the day after Christmas. Very exciting! I had received a FitBit Flex and wanted something with a little more umph. I went to pick up the item on 12/30. When I went to put it on, the highest I could get it was 3 up from the end, uncomfortably. The product states it should fit wrists 5.5"-6.7", so I dug out my fitting ruler and found that my wrists are exactly 6". I was able to get it all set up (moved it to only 2 up from the bottom (knowing that I would constantly be in fear of it falling off)) and for the time I was able to use it, it is an awesome product. I called up Best Buy, but by that time, all the Charge HRs for pre-release were sold out. Not having any other option (I am going on vacation on Tuesday and want to bring it with), I called FitBit Headquarters. The person on the phone last night IMMEDIATELY set up a return label to them and was able to promise that if I shipped out the Small the next morning and called them right after, that I would have my new FitBit Charge HR- Large by Friday at the earliest and Monday at the latest, free of charge. (He even admitted to them being small.) I shipped it the next morning and called them. After much complication, multiple phone calls to them (they tried to overnight me another fitbit charge hr-small). I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of the FitBit Charge HR- Large. Long story short, if your wrist fits on their "sizing chart", don't trust it. My wrist fit between the ends of the "small" and the FitBit did not. Aside from the sizing issues, it is an awesome product. I was able to track my sleep last night without having to turn anything on or off, which was a lot of fun. And knowing the exact amount of steps I'm taking daily will be awesome to see. I can't wait to get my new one!

It works well however the band is a poor design. It is time consuming to put on and it's black. I like to change my jewelry. I would like to have the option to change the color on my Fitbit band.

Even better than the Flex with HR monitor!

I loved the Flex when it first came out but it became boring over time and was really a no frills steps monitor and did not have all that I needed. This version they stepped up the game. With all the other monitors out on the market, they needed to come up with something that monitored hear rate and added stairs and other pieces along with caller ID etc. This device covers you from all angles and works with the existing Fitbit App, plus you can customize the display and charging it is easier and no pulling out the little thing from the band etc. This works perfectly and I love the HR monitor and miles etc. The only issue I have, the band has a rougher surface almost waffle like and it picks up every shred of lint from sleeves so you are constantly wiping it clean. Plus no ability to switch out the bands etc. Other than that, a great device and worth the price!

My first device was off, it skips count. When i returned it and got a new one i was satisfied by it's performance. On the other hand i think it estimates your hear rate and calories burned..

Upgrades to this. Not impressed. Don't like the green heart rate light-it is very bright at night. It also needs to be charged much more often.

Got this for my wife. I have the Apple Watch. We are both Apple addicts. I truly wish I convinced her to get the Apple Watch. The Fitbit is so blah. Wish Nike still make the FuelBand.

The wife loved it until one day she went to look at it and the screen was broke. she didn't remember hitting anything must be a cheap glass cover if it breaks that easily.
