They don't hold a charge for a full day and during a gym class it wouldn't tell her her heart rate. These, we now know, are known problems for the Fitbit.

Done with Fitbit

The first two broke within warranty period and were replaced. This last one was only 1yr 3 months old and broke. All three were worn by my wife whom used it in non-aggressive manners and never got it wet with sweat and always removed before shower. I understand things don't last forever but for a little over a year use in non-abusive manners is ridiculous. In my opinion anyway. We did receive an apology from Fitbit on this most recent failure with an offer to take 25% off a new Fitbit purchase. For the monies spent already it's more economical to purchase a smart watch. It's too bad as the technology is great; it's just on a product that continually fails.

Extremely Inaccurate

Mine quickly within a week showed inaccuarate heart rate and inaccurate calories burned and inaccuarate stairs and steps. I took it back to Best Buy and they replaced it. The second one would never keep the correct time and would show I was burning calories when I hadn't had it on or days. It was amusing to sync it to my phone after a day of it sitting on the bathroom sink and see how many calories it registered. The one I purchased as a gift started malfunctioning after the return period was over so it was simply a waste of money.
