I went through two of these fitbits and gave up, when both were defective. Customer service at the store was just as bad, when I brought them back. Very hesitant about future purchases.

I love my Fitbit. Wearing this regularly has motivated me to walk daily. I like the challenges presented and the badges you can earn. They need to make a longer charging cord.

charge HR is very good at what it does. My only complaint is that it does not stay or sync well, and it took me 3 hours to get it set up and there is no live Fitbit support that you can call & talk to someone to get help. But the product does what it says, tracks steps. heart rate steps. also the app food, water tracking keeps me on track.

I didn't realize how inactive I was during the work week until I wore this for a while. Many of my co-workers have these, and we always compare steps. The app is easy to use, though I didn't know how to "track my exercise" until I had this for a couple weeks - I was still using Map My Walk app. Pros: The app sends an e-mail to me when my battery is low. It only takes about an hour to charge. It seems to be fairly accurate with sleep start & end times. The app allows you to connect with friends who have fitbits to participate in challenges Cons: Initially I wore this tight on my wrist, but after a week or so, I noticed it was causing a skin irritation, so I gave my wrist a break for a day, loosened it up the next time I put it on, and now I don't have problems. The battery does not seem to last 5 days as the product info states, more like 3 - 4 days. I followed a suggestion to turn off all the auto settings on the device to conserve battery - for example, don't have the device display the time unless you manually press the button or tap on it. The device will log "steps" even if you are not walking - especially if you talk with your hands, so keep an eye on this to understand your usage..

    Simple and Economic

I read a few reviews over different fitness monitors and started a list of what I wanted out of the one I purchased. I knew I'd want one with heart rate monitoring to get the most out of my calorie count/calorie burn and stage of my workout I was in. I knew I wanted a sleep monitoring ability to track how much rest I was actually getting. Choosing the Fitbit Charge HR gave me these things for what I consider the lower end of the cost spectrum. It was also convenient with the tap feature that allowed you to access you daily stats all with just tapping at the wrist and after you charged that little guy up, it gave you a cute little message to motivate you or say it missed you! I really enjoyed my time with the charge HR and believe that at the minimum, the heart rate monitor is worth the little bit more.

The plastic part that covers the back came off. I'm not able to put it back or charge my fitbit anymore. I spent a lot of money a such a disposable watch.

I bought this for my wife. She absolutely loves it. We wish it was water proof, but she just has to take it off before showering or swimming. It tracks her sleep and all day activities. We went on vacation and climbed over 65 flights of stairs. It was really cool that it kept track. She uses it everyday!

Bought this device for my wife as a Christmas gift and she loves it! She is not tech savy but she was able to set it up, both on her cell phone as well as laptop with no assistance from me. So far, she says it has been super accurate and very helpful.
