Great easy way to track activity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comfortable lightweight way to monitor activity. The accompanying app is fantastic and free and the device is simple and easy to use. Great battery life, about 5 days with the HR monitor and charges fast. Monitors sleep activity and auto tracks HR elevation for excercise. Great tool to easily monitor your daily activity and motovation to reach daily goal steps.

Good fitness tracker but needs to be "waterproof"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using the Fitbit ONE for a long time. After lots of research I decided to purchase the Fitbit Charge HR mainly for the Heart Rate monitoring and I knew how to use the app (the app is excellent). I am impressed with how accurate the "step" tracking is, how accurate the "Heart Rate' monitoring is and how light weight it is that I sometimes forget I have it on. This brings up the "water proof" issue, that Fitbit MUST make their fitness trackers "Waterproof" or at the very least "Water Resistant" because simply washing your hands or when excising I worry sweating may damage the unit. The other features I basically do not use due to the unit small interface and lack of features on the unit. You must have the Fitbit APP to see and use the features. Tracking my food "intake" is a breeze with the APP because it has a huge food database for you to choose from. It even has a scan function (using the camera) to scan bar codes of food products that is very useful info on what you should not consume. I would have rated the Fitbit Charge HR with 5 Stars if it were "water proof" or "water resistant".

Like it overall, but NOT WATERPROOF.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy the Charge HR immensely. The ability to tap the screen for the time, my heart rate (This will help you stay in the Fat Burn or Cardio Zones) how many steps, calories and flights of stairs. You can even see who's calling when your Charge HR is connected via Bluetooth. The connected FitBit App is pretty amazing. You can add friends to the app and set weekly or daily goal challenges. The app also has badges to keep you motivated with your steps, flights of stairs, as well as, lifetime mileage and flights. All this said, it's great. But, and this is a huge but, IT IS NOT WATERPROOF. Can't wear it swimming or barely even wear it while washing your hands...just have to be cautious with it. It's quite pricey to get wet and ruin it. They have got to resolve this in the next iteration of the Charge HR. Despite the lack of waterproof capabilities, I would still recommend the FitBit Charge HR!

Love this band
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been through a few from the Jawbone original to the Fitbit Charge but having this unit with the built in heart rate monitor has been great. The adjustable band makes it comfortable and easy to wear. I forget its even on most times. I feel the accuracy is better with this band. i would recommend it to anyone looking for a good overall fitness band.

Love tracking activity & Best Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Fitbit tracker and upgraded to the Surge because of the larger screen and all the features. Unfortunately the Surge was too big and too heavy so I settled for the charge HR. I wish the HR had more features like the surge but it does track the heart rate, sleep and you can set up your goals for weight loss and it will give you calorie count for each day factored in with your activity. All in all it outshines the old tracker but when a new smaller, lightweight surge comes out I'm headed to Best Buy. Now to the experience: The first charge HR wouldn't sync with my iPhone and after more than an hour of online chat with Fitbit without success I exchanged it at Best Buy. Also the Fitbit company followed up with an email and requested I return the non-working HR to them for a replacement but I had already exchanged it at Best Buy. Best Buy return policy is the Best! Best Buy tech offered to make certain my newest HR worked, synced, and updated correctly. He was phenomenal! I should mention that at checkout, the young lady searched for a price match at Amazon prime so it was a little less expensive. I always purchase my electronics at Best Buy because of the customer service, terrific return policy, and knowledgeable staff.

Heart rate!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this asap because I've been waiting for the release with the new heart rate tech. Upon opening the first thing I noticed is the lightweight build and quality of the strap. It just feels perfect for what it is supposed to do. It stays in place pretty well too. I got the large size and I think large is the right size for most people. Small just seems too small. One thing I didn't like is upon arrival and after charging I noticed there is a dead pixel or dirt under the display. I couldn't belive it and I'm sure it's just my luck. I got the protection plan so I'm sure in a year I'll replace it as opposed to returning it now while it works fine. But seriously it's bummer. Also the display will scratch decently easily due to what seems like soft polarizer on the screen. Other than those 2 things the charge hr is everything I wanted. The app for Fitbit is filled with useful tracking and information tools. the heart rate tech is great and it allows me to track everything fitness and sleep related. I also love how it has target heart rate zones. But for anyone getting a heart rate monitor I'm sure that's a function they are looking for anyways. Love it!!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i was waiting for the up3 and it was taking forever so my wife and i decided to buy these and they are fantastic the heart rate is very accurate and the steps are great. the only negative is the app not working with apples health app but you can buy fit bit sun for 1.99 and that solves that issue. wish it was waterproof but no big deal neither is the up3

Excellent tracker but pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the Fitbit. It tracks my steps, HR, flights of stairs climbed, sleep, and more. After downloading the Fitbit app to my iPad, I could easily sync the information from the Fitbit to the app. The app shows my sleep patterns, which I find very informative. Would have given five stars if the price were lower.

Love it! Keeps me focused on HR & Caloies
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: FitBit HR keeps me focused on my resting and active heart rate, calorie burn & intake. I knew a burned a lot of calories at work, but had little idea how much. It became very clear that much of my excessive intake was during my off days when I was lying around recovering from my workdays. I am now more focused on pushing myself to move and/or cutting back on my intake on off days. Cons: I was hoping to get more detail in my heart rate down to a scale of seconds. Unfortunately, there is no way to drill down to heart rate patterns smaller than an hour or so. Therefore, you're only looking at an average for that period of time, and with no hashmarks , it is very difficult to tell at what point your heart rate varies in relation to activity or other factors. Suggestions: An update to the FitBit software to drill down to the infinite detail of heart rate patterns over time in seconds would greatly enhance the value of this device to me. I would also love to have a future FitBit to monitor oxygen saturation. The ability to export data to charting software like excel would be a big plus.

Motivator!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had my FitBit HR for about 3 weeks now. So far really loving it. I am a pretty avid hiker on the weekends as that is my escape from the weekly grind at work. But I have discovered much more since owning the FitBit. I am much more motivated just to get out and walk more during the week. Instead of watching TV after dinner, I venture out and go for a long walk. So I feel that this is a useful tool to become more active. When out on hikes it is also good to see how far I have traveled and then try and push myself for the next weekend. Is this unit 100% accurate? Probably not, but pretty darn close which is good enough for me. Now everybody else in the family wants one.

Accurate and Motivational
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this one for my spouse the steps are pretty accurate, the ability to compete , check my heart rate and receive badges for my accomplishments helps keep us both motivated! My only problem is it doesn't always pick up the phone calls from my phone and it doesn't seem to last 5 days on a complete charge.

Easy to use heart rat and activity monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally, I purchased the Garmin Vivosmart HR, but Best Buy only carried the regular size for that, which will not fit at all on my wrist or most men's wrists. The FitBit large fits perfectly. This is water resistant, not waterproof, so no swimming. It is fairly easy to setup. It did not finish in the iPhone app within the 10 minutes that it said it could take. I closed the app after 15 minutes. Then I restarted it. Everything worked perfectly after that and it updated the firmware o the FitBit. This is really the only reason I am giving it 4 stars. You should not need to kill the app to finish the setup. iOS 9.3 is very new, so perhaps the app will have an update that does not have this problem. It does all it says it will. It is great being able to just tap the device and get my heart rate. It shows caller id At some point, I may purchase a more expensive device that is waterproof and has GPS, so I can track run routes without my phone and also track swimming. But for the price, this is perfect .

Glad I bought it! Very happy with my selection.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use. I like the app interface and level of detail. The only thing that could be improved is the dongle you need to recharge it, but other than that it is great for tracking activity, heart rate and sleep. Integrates with other apps like MyFitnessPal. After having it for over a month, wearing it daily, I would not be without it.

Great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does it's job well. Counts steps, monitors heart rate, and even monitors how well I sleep. I wear it often. I also like the silent alarm feature it has where it will gently vibrate on your wrist to wake you up. You can connect it to your computer to sync via a wireless dongle or download the Fitbit app to keep track of everything.

Great purchase! It does everything I need and more
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My doctor wanted me to purchase it and help monitor my sleep patterns and heart rate. I was surprised at the information it provided and surprised by how little good sleep I was getting each night. I would recommend it for those reasons and more, including tracking how many steps I take each day. Very motivating for keeping active.

Love It!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All of the functions work well and I rely on it completely, never taking it off except when showering. Tracks my steps and distance, my heartbeat, my sleep, my weight, in addition to the time and date, etc. All of my other watches are on the shelf! The syncing with the cell phone works very well every morning or whenever..

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great item. Love the information that it gives me. Time, Steps, Distance, Flights of Stairs, Calories burned, Heart Rate and Sleep. Charge only lasts about 4 days, Dashboard app lets you add other exercise, food etc. I use some of it but not all. I have a Fitbit Flex but like this one better.

Great Product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really great product. It is easy to use, lasts several days on one charge, and I am glad that I bought the HR model because I like to monitor my heart rate. The sleep tracking function really does work too! The only thing that I wish it had was the date, otherwise it would be perfect.

Dominant hand beware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love my Fitbit Charge HR. The only real complaint is be careful about which wrist you wear it. I understand it is suggested you wear it on your non-dominant hand. I however have always worn a watch on my dominant hand and found it difficult to switch. After two weeks of wear my Fitbit Charge HR, my left hand (dominant) began to ache to the point I couldn't pickup an empty mug or do any kind of repetitive motion with that hand. Extremely painful! I have since switched to wearing my Charge HR on my non-dominant wrist and no longer sleep with it on and the problems have all gone away. :) Most problematic reviews I read regarding EMF sensitivity were related to pain in the wrist and up the arm. For me it was only in the hand. Go figure. Aside from the sensitivity to EMF, I love my Fitbit Charge HR! I can log activities like skiing and biking via my iPad or desktop computer. Also like that you can set a timer on it for continuous activity tracking. Hope you love yours as much as I love mine!

Great activity tracker.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Fitbit Charge HR because I needed an easy way to track my heart beat and sleep patterns without wearing a strap or using another device. So far, it is working out for me but I did have to fiddle around with the steps, exercise, and heart rate features to get what I wanted.
