Good product at an excellent price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far the charge hr has been very accurate. It is quite comfortable and light. The app works well and being able to compete with friends is incredibly motivating. Only issue I have had is when sweating profusely. Seems that the sweat gets in through the charging port and causes a little glitchyness. That is only when extremely sweaty and some people may not even experience it. I did talk to Fitbit customer service which was amazing, very attentive and willing to help. I give it a rating of 5 despite the sweat issue because I do recognize that the item is not sold as waterproof and because the customer service was extremely reassuring that they were there to make sure I was happy and had a functioning product.

Great fitness tracker!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is such a great device! I do enjoy seeing how active I've been or what my heart rate is at any point. The best is that it all gets recorded into the app and I can track my sleep! The only reason I give it a 4 star is because the battery hasn't lasted as long as it says it should.

Great Device, Very Helpful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fitbit Charge HR Activity Tracker is a great little device that was extremely easy to incorporate into my daily activities. The set up online was pretty straightforward and simple. I really like to be able to monitor my steps, heart rate, and calories burned. If you can wear a watch, you can use a Fitbit.

Fitbit HR Motivates
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Fitbit HR is quite a motivator. Makes you stop and think, helps you keep track of your day and works well. Must be connected to skin to work so it will fit snuggly. Would recommend this to those who need that daily reminder that health is important!!! Best Buy staff helped set it up which was a real bonus!

Very good activity monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mine does a good job at fairly accurately tracking my steps, heart rate, sllep, etc. My wife has one and thinks it grossly underestimates her steps. I've read on the fitbit forums that others have had a similar experience. So I'm happy with mine, but not happy with the second one.

Great for motivation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice fitbit with an accurate step count. I like being able to check my heart rate at any time, but the limitation is that you cannot leave the HR on to sync your workouts with it. The band is comfortable to wear, and the battery life is long. I also like the stair count, and especially the fact that it syncs with my smart phone...that's just awesome! It absolutely motivates me to reach my daily goals! I also like the feature where I could be a part of a group for challenges, and can easily see on my phone where I stand with the other members' numbers! The only real problem I have with the fitbit, is if I decide not to wear it at night, and put it down on my nightstand, it sporadically lights up with either the time or the green monitor lights that light up the whole bedroom...it tends to wake me up...and sometimes when I am wearing it at night, the lights come on and if the band is loose enough, the lights are bright enough to wake me as well.

Fantastic activity tracker!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the charge hr has been amazing for the month that I've had it! I love the display. I can easily keep track of my activity during the day without having to sync with my phone or computer. I love the fact that it keeps track of my heart rate. Not only does it keep track of sleep, but it helps me know if I need to warm up more, cool down more, or work harder during workouts. Since it's not a smart watch with all of those bells and whistles, it holds a charge for a good 4 or 5 days, and it charges pretty quickly, which is awesome! It syncs really well with myfitnesspal where I log nutrition and workouts. In general its really helped to motivate me to lead a healthy lifestyle, and that's what counts!

Trusting it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm trusting that it is accurate in the presented data. At least most of the time I think it is kinda fun to review the data . I know it is not a medical device but was angered when my last specialist Dr. refused to even look at some data points that showed a consistent and unusual result. He said it was an expensive toy not worth the money and if he wanted any data he had access to real medical equipment. I have checked the pulse function with my general Dr.'s machine and with my prescription oximeter and it has matched exactly. I got it to help me be reminded to be more active in a safer manner. One terrific thing is that I can wear it full time except for charging, which I do while I bathe. This is the first watch I haven't had an allergic blistering reaction too. I'm even allergic to my gold wedding band so this is great band material and I finally can tell time all by myself- at 70 this really feels good. It works for me.

Its works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works okay and serves its purpose. Sometimes it doesn't log my flights of stairs accurately. Also the distance reading is off. I ran three miles on a track (so it should be accurate) but the the fit bit logged it as 4.1 miles. With these inaccuracies, I wonder how accurate the step counter is. I even made sure the positioning on my wrist is correct for normal wear vs exercising. Heart rate monitor works fine. I also wish the battery lasted longer that about 5 days. It would be much more convenient if I only had to charge it every 2 weeks to a month. Also would be better if fully waterproof.

Good but can use improvement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My only issue with this product is that it won't track vigorous exercise such as Crossfit or Insanity. Therefore the readings and calorie burn are off because you can go minutes with the monitor losing a heart rate. However, When you are walking, jogging or daily use it has no issues at all. The other issue is the fact it's not completely water proof. It would be good to wear swimming or shower. It can get wet but can't be immersed in water. The battery life doesnt last 5 days for me. More like 3-4. The plus side is it charges very quickly. I charge while I shower daily so it never loses power. But I never got 5 full days. Overall it gives a pretty good picture of your fitness and the app is simple and detailed. The sleep tracking can so be a bit more accurate. But its pretty good. Assuming the next version takes care of the more accurate HR readings in ALL exercises and completely waterproof this will be a 5 star product.

Big Help on Counting Steps and Monitoring Sleep
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wasn't sure if I was going to like this but so far it's been very good. I haven't worn a watch in years so it took getting used. But to be able to track how many steps I take, and compare to friends with this product is fun and makes trying to lose weight a bit easier and more like a game. I also like that it vibrates when you get a phone call. I leave my phone on vibrate and can;t always tell I have a call. But now the FitBit vibrates and shows who is calling. Monitoring sleep has also been very interesting. The only reason I gave this a Good rather than excellent is in about one month I noticed it is not always logging sleep time and the alert when I reach my step goals isn't always working. But am looking into those issues.

Just what the flex was missing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as an upgrade from my FitBit Flex. Both devices are very good pedometers and open the door to a growing community of fitness-minded data-farmers. Having the tools to track your food and exercise as well as a network of friends is perhaps the most important fitness boost, but if you're into looking at numbers, the Charge HR is a very welcome upgrade because of the heart-rate monitor and the automatic sleep tracking instead of the flex's requirement to turn it on when going to bed. Finally, I often found myself looking down at the Flex expecting to see the time, which it does not feature. If I'm going to have a band on my wrist, I'm accustomed to it keeping time. The Charge HR does this, so it was another strong feature.

Motivation I Needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device has been pretty awesome in terms of making me get my butt up and moving. It's healthy competition overall with yourself I think, with boosts from friendly competition with friends. It literally changed my mentality about being physically active. It's easy to track. I feel less lazy. I love the plum colored one, and I got the black one for my husband. He loves it too. I also LOVE (and hate a little) the silent arm. I can now wake up early for class or study without waking up my husband! I just get annoyed by he wrist vibration sometimes, but its still helpful. The only thing I wish the FitBit app did was give you a more defined nutrient breakdown. I still have to use MyFitnessPal to get my macronutrient breakdown to see if in getting enough protein, too much sugar, etc. if it had that, I would give this product 5 stars. I hate using more than one app for the same thing.

Works Great, Well Designed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my Fitbit Charge HR for a month now. It fits my wrist well and is extremely lightweight and unobtrusive. The display is great. Sometimes it is hard to read in direct sunlight. The battery lasts four days sometimes five, which is great for me. The app sync to mobile phone is wonderful and seamless. The web data tools and reports are clean, simple, easy to read, and inspiring. Heart Rate data appears accurate though it's not exact science, which they claim openly. The sleep monitor seems fairly accurate to me - measuring my infrequent restlessness spots. (It proves my CPAP is working like it should too!) I have experienced no irritation issues. I do take it off occasionally as they suggest to rest and free your skin contact. Fitbit Charge HR works great for me and is well designed.

FITBIT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased about a month ago. It was very easy to do. Just follow the attached Directions. Fitbit does everything I wanted it to do. It reads how long I sleep, how far I walked, what my heart rate is.

Works For Me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The FitBit has actually worked better than I would have thought. I think it was my skepticism that kept me from liking it at first. However, it can tend to leave a pretty big indentation on your arm from where it protrudes underneath. Sleeping with a watch on was odd for me at first but that's a personal adjustment. Sometimes it won't record steps or it will record more steps (IE I wake up with 20 steps already on there) but that can be adjusted throughout the settings. The display reads bright and clear, all the functions work well and it is customizable for what you're wanting to monitor.

Charge HR - mainly used for logging steps
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the Charge HR - used mainly for logging steps, but also shows floors and calories and has alarm, I use all those... I turned off the Heart Rate monitor since it runs continuously which takes the battery down in like a day and a half to 2 days and have to recharge it more often... but by turning off the HR, the battery will last from Monday till the following Monday... Don't really care for or like the BLUE rubberized band, it's cheaply made for the price you have to pay for this fitbit HR... would like to use a real wristwatch band... seems it should not be a problem to come up with some alternative band / casing that would hold the brains of the fitbit in it that you could attach a watch band to... something stylish like they have from Tory Burch for women... need some type of casing like that for men since most men wear the fitbit daily all day...

Works great for the basics - easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I definitely wanted the heartrate monitor and am able to see my sleep patterns. Wow - this is helping me see why I'm still so tired every morning. Other features are great too - love seeing my daily steps go "up and down" day after day. It helps push me to do better each day.

Love all the features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this for about 3 months now. I wasn't sure what to expect so I wanted to try it out. First of all I love the heart rate monitor. It's great to see what's your heart rate is doing even during rest. Step tracking is about what I expected. Very nice to be able to set a daily goal then once you hit that it notifies you with display and vibration. One feature I wasn't sure about was the sleep tracker. Sleep is essential to health and I love the way it tracks your nightly patterns, restless times and awake. Very cool feature to know what your body is doing during sleep. Another great feature is the silent alarm. Perfect way to wake up to the vibration and not have an alarm going off in the room. This is set up in the phone app. Look at all your daily, weekly and monthly data on the app. I have recommended this to several people who wanted these features and everyone who has purchased it loves it as well. Highly recommend this product.

Great HealthWatch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this watch to track my heart rate during endurance in interval training, and I thought that was pretty accurate with self testing and real health equipment. I was extra impressed with how it tracked my sleep patterns when I was awak & for how long I slept and I correlated this to when I would wake up and look at the clock. Very impressive how accurate. Not sure how much benefit tracking your steps and stairs will have but the heart rate monitor is very good. I'm sure if the technology evolves and gives you more useful telemetry like calories burned and BMI, future devices will probably be indispensable. Also, I'm a little concerned that the device is not as rugged as I would like such as a G-Shock watch for example. But so far it is held up in the past month. Hopefully newer devices and technology and models Will have more these functions
