Does what it is supposed to do

I have been holding out on a fitness tracker for quite some time, but finally decided to get one. The Fitbit Charge HR had the features that I was looking for and was reasonably priced. I feel overall the heart rate function works as good as a wrist tracking system can. It is not perfect (especially during intense workouts), but it gets the job done for the most part of the day. The steps, flights, and sleep tracking all seem pretty accurate, and I find the band comfortable to wear. I did develop minor redness on my wrist, but it went away once I switched wrists. That is one suggest I would have for anyone, switch wrists every week and you won't have any rash problems. I am very active (workout 5 days a week for 2 hours at a time) and know the thing is not 100% accurate, but I expected that going in and know if anything, it is under estimating my total calories burned. The app is nice and clean and makes it fun to track all your stats.

PROS: - Great heart rate monitor. - Great sleep tracking. - Accurate step count. - Bonus of caller id. - Charge really does last 5 days like they claim. CONS: 1. Band is not replaceable. Pick your color wisely. 2. Do not lose charger. The cable is proprietary to fitbit and if lost you would have to buy from them only. 3. Seems like the screen could be put to more use. Examples: if caller id shows up, why not also show the text in a txt message when it arrives? Or how about an option to show the current weather outside? All in all, a very nice device. I strongly recommend it.

I purchased this band a little over two months ago. Since then, I have also become far more active, far healthier, and have lost over 10 pounds. While I would argue that the majority of those benefits came from my diet and exercise routine, I would be amiss not to give credit where credit is due. This band helped keep me focused on what I did physically, it helped me track my sleep, and it made so I could track my heart rate and caloric intake. Overall, this is a great band, and one I would highly recommend. My only complaint is that it seems to have a difficult time recording my sleep sometimes. If that improves, this band deserves 5 stars all the way!

I ordered this fitbit for my dad, who absolutely loves it. The size large fits well for him, while I have a size small myself. The step count is accurate, and the sleep tracking and heart rate data are fantastic. We really like the online app and phone app as well.

I originally wanted to monitor my heartbeat while working out, (doctor's orders), so I looked for this device. I must say, it has turned into a lot more than just a HR monitor, It's now kind of fun to see how many steps I've taken, calories burned, etc. It makes you want to do just a little better each day. The only thing, is that if you're doing resistance training (weights, elliptical, arc-trainer etc) the calorie counts will be lower than what you've actually burned, because the machine is taking the amount of resistance it's feeding and watts generated to calculate calorie burn, and the Fitbit only takes your steps and heart rate to calculate. Not a huge difference, but it does make a difference over a workout.

The Fitbit Charge HR was all I expected and works very well. I get 4 days use with a full charge . The heart rate monitor is pretty accurate as well, only off by a few beats. The band is very comfortable and has not gotten in the way for any of my daily activities. I also like the adjustable watch band type closure. The band switches to sleep mode accurately also. I really enjoy being able to see my current stats on the screen and the online dashboard is well organized also. The proprietary charging cable is short and limits you to when and where you can charge since that specific cable is required. An email is sent when the battery is low, so long as you have synced the band. It would've been nice if a battery indicator was added as one of the stats the band shows on its screen. I would definitely recommend the Fitbit Charge HR to anyone looking for a great fitness tracker with a heart rate monitor.

Easy to use, tracks excessive flights of stairs climbed while I am golfing with a power cart. Bought this to replace my misfit so that I could track heart rate. Don't like having to recharge it, but lasts a few days between charges.

I previously had a Fit Bit years ago and it failed on me. I bought this FitBit and have been using it for more than a month. I love it so far. With the new update its tracking is a lot better. The heart rate monitor is very accurate and the FitBIt can now tell when you are doing physical activities after 15 mins of activity or can be set manually. I have felt this product has helped me to become more active. You can setup competitions with your friends who also have FitBits. I would recommend the product it is well worth it.

I have had both this tracker and the UP2. I was a long time supporter of UP, but their recent issues and lack of customer service made me look elsewhere. The Charge HR works great! No complaints about how it operates. It's pretty intuitive and gets the job done. Now the negatives, that what you wanna know anyway. Let me say that the negatives aren't enough for me to not use it or switch to another product. I still gave it 4 stars. 1. The battery life is wanting compared to UP products but UP bands aren't fueling a screen either. I generally have to charge it twice a week and when the battery is dying, it goes downhill rather quickly. Twice a week may not sound like much but consider this. With my UP bands, I knew when the battery would be close to dying and had a pretty good routine. I'd charge it Sunday night while I watched tv. The few times during the week when I actually knew I wouldn't be moving about or sleeping. With the Charge HR, there's no pattern and sometimes I'm without it during peak movement times during my day. 2. It's of course a lot bigger than what I had become accustom to with the UP. No biggie, it's just bigger. The design is just okay and it looks like a fitness tracker. No points there for style. 3. I got a small friction bump from constantly having it on. Partly my fault. I hate to have stuff dangling on my wrist so I have fastened pretty snuggly, but still it shouldn't give me a rash.. 4. It took many tries to get it to pair with my Galaxy S5 Active. It seems to pair on and off now just fine, but it took a long 50 minutes to get it working when I first got it. I almost gave up and brought back to the store...long time. Other than that, it's great. I haven't had to contact customer service. So that's a plus in my book. Good tracker.

The Fitbit - Charge HR Heart Rate and Activity Tracker + Sleep Wristband tracks your step count is excellent along with the ability to set goals and does a good job at monitoring sleep. It would be nice to be water proof so that you can use it while swimming.

I went in to see my Doctor and he told me about this things you could put on your wrist to help you to get in shape. I had never heard of them. So I did my research on the internet and narrowed it down to Fitbit. I already wear a watch so I didn't need the high end one but I wanted to monitor my pulse rate. So I bought the Fitbit Charge. This thing is great. It monitors just about everything you do. It tracks how many steps you take in a day and you can set goals. It tracks how many stairs you climb in a day, how many calories you burn and consume, how much water you drink, and it will even track your exercise. I am motivated to get in shape and it is happening now do to this Best Buy purchase.

I originally started out with a Fitbit Zip, then my daughter asked for a device that she could wear on her wrist so after doing some research I purchased a Fitbit Charge HR. This device is great. It tracks steps, heart rate, stair climbing, active minutes, sleep pattern, functions as a watch, plus has caller ID when you receive a phone call. It's rechargeable so you don't have to keep buying batteries every few months. The charge lasts 4-5 days. You'll get an email when the charge is getting low. The strap has a latch on it which keeps the device snug on your wrist and you won't have to worry about it falling off. I liked hers so much that I ending up buying a second one for me.

I wasn't 100% sure when buying this it would offer me any help as I try to embrace a more healthy lifestyle. After using the product for a few weeks I'm 100%! I work from home, which is often on the phone or in front of a computer. A regular day I was stepping maybe 2-3k per day. Having the fitbit keeps me on track during the day, so I know to get up off by butt and start stepping. Now whenever I'm on the phone I'm up walking around the house. You'd be amazed what this little change has done. Now I hit my tarket of 10,000 steps EVERY DAY. And the best part is with the HR I can keep my heart rate in check when making stressful work calls. I tend to stay more calm as I have instant feedback with the fitbit HR. Now I'm just getting into some of the fun competitions with friends, which helps keep you and them motivated together. Overall, great buy.

I did a good bit of research on all types of fitness bands. I was eventually narrowed by my company in the choices I could make. Only certain fitness bands work with their health app, so I can get extra money. Even so this was in my top options. I have had the band for a few months now. I wish it was waterproof, but it tracks everything I need. It does a good job. The only complaint is the battery life. I am not running it as hard as I could and I only get about 4 days out of it. I can push it with the battery about to cut off my fit bit at any second to get 5 days. Overall it's a good product and it's helping me track everything I want to, to meet my exercise goals. Most everyone on my team at work has one and I am seeing more people outside of work with one.

The Fitbit Charge HR is great! I wear it all the time I keep it away from running water I take it off before I shower and I just really take care of it. I love the heart beat monitor and the amount of steps I've taken and the alarms! I can set an alarm without waking anyone else up because it vibrates. My only flaw is I wish I could view text notifications. I love the caller ID but I wish there was an update where we can view a text message and to ignore a call with the little button on the left of the screen would be nice as well. It shouldn't end the call but just ignore to keep the phone from continuing ringing or vibrating. But over all great product!! I give it 4.7 stars! I'd give it 5 if it had text notifications and an ignore option during an incoming call.
