Can live without my Fitbit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this Fitbit was part of a challenge with my friends. I couldn't imagine I tolerated wearing something on my wrist this long. I actually got used to it. I have been using this Fitbit - Charge HR to track my steps, activities, heart rate and sleep. I set my goal and it reminds me as I progress. It's not just a Fitbit but a friend on my wrist. I just wish it's waterproof. I have to be careful when I wash dishes. I need to find ways to clear it more effectively, orange is turning brown.

Great Overall, a few tweaks would make it 5 stars
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the Charge HR is a great fitness tracker with some nice extras not found on many products in this category. At its price point you would expect this of course. I bought this primarily for its ability to track heart rates throughout the day. There are plenty of products that do a great job of tracking steps. I am slightly partial to the fitbit ecosystem but had not prior product that had me locked into it so I was open to most brands. Some of the extras I enjoy on the Charge HR is the small digital screen that can provide a variety of health related stats and the the time/date. Although minor the last item is a nice plus. I like some of the gee whiz factors like double tapping the screen to get your favorite tracking stat to appear it then auto display when you raise the device towards you. This is very handy for quick time checked. The construction of the device is very good. I especially like the decision to use a traditional watch band like design that keeps the device solidly on my arm even with hard bumps. The ability to be notified of calls and caller ID is a nice touch. There are at least a few calls I would have missed if it were not from the vibration from the fitbit. Tweaks: The lack of integration with apple health is a little annoying. It was a known thing going in but has been more annoying than I expected since I use a number of apps. Even with connecting some of the apps the experience is less than ideal. Of course apple heath does not fix all those issues but being able to pull in weight and a few other data points more seamlessly would easily add another star. Notification of text messages would be a nice addition. I don't need a fitbit to be a full blown smartwatch but call and text notifications seem to make sense for this device. It sounds like that may come at some point however. The double tap to see the favorite stat seems to be a little flaky at times. It still is useful but could use a bit more refinement/sensitivity control. All around a great health tracking device that has more features that most of the products on the market. Other higher end devices have similar functions. For me the network of people within the fitbit ecosystem was a big factor. Their app and ecosystem are very nicely implemented (even if it does not play nice with apple)

Perfect for tracking daily routine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my wife the pink one and myself the black one and we love them. You have to charge them about every other day or so but they charge quick. You can check steps, heart rate, calories, stairs, miles and the time right from the device instead of looking at the app. You can compete against friends that also have fitbits. You can make your own goals and track your sleep. I realized my sleeping pattern is not good and now I am doing things to try and make myself sleep better at night.

Keeps me aware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device keeps me more aware of my fitness goals. I can stay with the pre-set goals or customize them to my needs (steps, stairs, miles/day, active minutes, calories burned, sleep hours, exercise). I have already run up and down the stairs at the end of the day just to make my goal - something I would not have done if I did not see on the app that I wasn't at my goal. This awareness has gotten me moving much more. Only gave it 4 stars because the battery only lasts, 2-3 days at the most. Not 5 days like it says it will last.

Great Fitness Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like my Charge HR. It helps keep track of not only my steps but also my sleep pattern and heart rate. The only thing that I wish is that it was water proof. That would make it the perfect fitness tracker.

Great fitness tracker!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best fitness trackers out there. Love the bluetooth features and heart rate monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my old clip on Fitbit that I have had for years. I love the product and features of Fitbit. I have it sync'd to my phone and it actually has caller ID which comes in handy when I am at work. I upgraded to the one with the heart monitor because I am starting a fitness program. What I do not like is that this model is big for my small wrist, doesn't hold a charge as long as my old clip on but thats just me needing to remember to charge. The tracking app does not work as well as it did with my old clip on which would autimatically sync and for some reason does not save the previous days, they show up zero. May look for another tracking app.

Great tool to improve physical activity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a gift for a friend. The HR monitor was the main reason. It replaced the heart rate band and watch. Great for keeping count of steps and calories throughtout the day.

Excellent fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my husband so he could track his heart rate and activity levels. It needed to be easy to use, and the application needed to be easy to use and available on multiple devices. This fitness tracker fit all those needs and more. My husband loves it, it was easy to set up and he wears it every day and uses the app every day to track his health and fitness. It has even helped him with doctor's appointments because he can export data like his heart rate and give it to his doctor.

Charrrrrrrrrrrrge!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Fitbit charge! It keeps me honest about my daily exercise, and competitions within the Fitbit app provide me with the motivation that I need to stay on top of my fitness! I understand that fitness is about being disciplined and just getting out there and doing it but for many of us, we just don't think about it actively enough and that is how we fall behind. The added heart rate feature is pretty nice just to be able to keep checking in on yourself...last time I checked, the heart was pretty important so it's probably not a bad idea to make sure things are functioning properly! If you pick up a new Fitbit, you won't be disappointed. I've actually ended up picking up a few more as gifts for people and they love them!

Good tracker - worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned the fitbit zip, fitbit flex, fitbit charge and now the charge HR. This is definitely the best of those I've owned, and the most expensive. I've also used the MisFit app on a Pebble smartwatch. The Charge HR works as it should and is as accurate as these things get in my opinion. The improved band and heart rate monitoring are definitely worth the small price increase over the Charge. Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the price. $150 is not cheap, but I do feel it is worth it if you want accurate tracking. The Mac and iPhone apps are really good and integrate well with other services like WebMD and several food / calorie tracking apps.

Disappointment
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recieved the FitBit charge for Christmas. By Feb of the following year i had almost lost it several times because of the shotty clasp system. We bought the protection so I decided to exchange (and pay the upgrade fee) it for the FitBit HR in hopes of band working better. A month later the band broke while i was sleeping and now the clasp is breaking as well. I have had continous issues syncing it with my iOS and fitbit's solution is to restart the system.......I have to do this at LEAST twice a day. I have been trying to exchange the broken/defective FitBit HR for hte last 2+weeks and Best Buy says the demand is too high for the product and the manufacturers are taking to long to produce. I have attempted to contact fitbit and they "may replace" the product....disappointed in this product...not worth the $150+ protection we paid for it! It does have great functions and when it syncs does a great job...just wish craftsmenship was worth it

Lovin' it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fun, useful item to have. I really wanted the HR model so when exercising I could check on my heart rate and also wanted to be able to track sleep (or lack of!). Wish there were more "pretty" colors offered but happy with the plum. Took a little effort to figure out how to know when it needs to be charged/setting up app on computer//getting caller ID working, but the Fitbit online community has been wonderful/helpful! I think it reads more "steps" than you actually take (if you move your hands a lot) cause it doesn't know the difference, but I suspect all devices like this will do the same thing. Overall, I'm loving it!
