Serves It's Purpose! Wish It Was Waterproof:-(

The tracker works as described. It can be a little uncomfortable if you wear it too long however the instructions do say to give your wrist a rest. Obviously you can manipulate your steps by moving your arms but then you're just cheating yourself. However, I was on a very bumpy bus in Belize and the counter kept going. My biggest complaint is that I couldn't sync the tracker while on a cruise and disconnected from the internet. I thought that since it was connected via bluetooth, I wouldn't need an internet connection. Overall, it does serve it's purpose.

Having a Fitbit with a heart rate monitor is a life changer. I have had the HR for about a month now and the initial goal of 10000 steps is definitely an easy goal to reach. Will be increasing 1000 steps a week until I reach 16000 a day. Knowing how many calories you burn in relation to how many calories I intake has been a great way to know if you are over eating. Awesome product ... iphone app is fantastic.

It performs as expected and has served as a motivator to do one more lap or to walk 5 more minutes in order to achieve a goal.

Upgraded from the Flex. Love the HR monitor. The band is a clasp which keeps it from popping off my wrist when sleeping and doing physical activity.

I love this version! Have had the flex before but love the ability to see real numbers and HR. Phone caller ID helps when I am in meetings and can avoid looking at my phone.

We purchased three Fitbit Charge HRs and have been using them consistently for more than a month. Motivation is great and we have all reaped rewards from the competition. :)

I got used to the Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit...which sent me my text and phone call notifications to my hand to alert me...thought this one had both...but it didn't so back it went. If it did though I totally would've kept I liked it's form factor size on my arm. If you don't need Text notifications...and ok with only call notifications...then would recommend this one for you - although to be honest...I couldn't get the call notifications to work...but once I found out no text notifications I didn't even continue to try to make it work - took it back for the Surge.

I had the Fitbit Flex first and move up to the Charge HR, only drawback is that it seems to need to be charged more often. Other than that, it's awesome

Can be set to vibrate which is huge. Battery life is about five days before next recharge. Counts paces and stair steps. Heart rate monitor tells you if you have expired.
