I will walk out to my car, drive my 45 min commute to work and walk into my office (I would say a total of less than 100 steps) and the fit bit counts more that 1000. Yesterday it counted 2268 between my house and work... But everything else seems to work just fine.

Love it

One sweet feature is when your heart rate goes a above a certain beats per minute it track that. The app works great - not buggy or slow. On the app me and my friends are always challenging each other in steps!

Great for well being

It tracks heart rate while exercising and calories burned during the day. It even tracks different functions while you sleep. For the money it is worth the price!
