She's lost weight since she got it. It motivates her to do more exercising and see how many calories she can burn. It also gives you weekly totals.

I purchased this activity tracker for two features HR monitor and connectivity with phone. Advertised ability to receive notifications from smartphone. Unfortunately this unit is not up to date with the newest Galaxy S6. It also does not do well updating time when crossing time zones. Pretty frustrating.

It's all about the watch band

The real reason to upgrade is the real locking watchband so the terrible plug type band on all the other fitbits is no longer an issue. This one doesn't fall off, so it's worth the upgrage.
