The recipient of the gift has not been able to sync Fitbit with his cell phone and geek squad was not able to as yet also. It may require purchase of updated phone..Best Buy replaced the Fitbit already once and has offered to do so again.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother and she loves it! Although the instructions that come in box are minimal, the app does a great job of guiding you through the setup. Since it uses a conventional wrist watch latch to secure around the wrist, you don't worry as much about losing it.

Easy setup. Easy to use. Really got me focused on fitness.

I'm using the fit bit to support a diet and exercise program in preventing on set of type 2 diabetes. In the first month I've changed my diet seeing directly how certain foods impact my weight. Its also forcing me to get off " the couch" and start moving again.

I purchased for tracking steps. This is satisfactory. However I really struggle to remember to recharge. Right now I am out of town and I see it needs recharged. I do not have the charger with me. So it is useless for the rest of the week.

Previously had 2 different UP products. In my opinion, this is a much better product. My only issue is that it does not seem to track sleep accurately and will often split the night into 2 sessions. Having Fitbit friends is fun so you can see what others are doing and the badges are fun as well.

As a whole the product is great...or what it can do...I've been thru 4 fit it's in 7m...bands breaking...buttons falling off...love that it calculates sleep and the step competitions are wonderful but the craftsmanship is less then desirable

So, I had the fitbit charge HR for exactly 2 weeks, when it died. No warning, just died. During these two weeks, I had to charge it up every 2-3 days, which I found bothersome. The heart rate sensor is not too accurate, as I tested it against other HR sensors. I took it back, and ended up getting the Charge basic model. I like that it doesn't have such an intense connection mechanism as the HR. I don't think the HR sensor is worth the extra $30-$40...because It just kills the battery faster. One last comment.....FITBIT needs to get with the times, and get a micro-USB charging cable integrated into these devices....no one wants to carry an extra charger......

the product is good the service is great. We were treated like family. We came back with questions and Johnnie work very hard to help us. We came back to Best Buy and have purchased a freezer, another Fitbit and a computer in the past month. The Geek Squad really helped us. everything we have purchased work right out of the box.

I've found the Fitbit easy to use and very functional.

Set up was easy and I was ready to go within minutes!
