I purchased several of these as Christmas gifts, but decided to pick up another one as a birthday gift for my wife ... based on the reception of the other FitBits. Highly thoughtout product w/excellent app integration.

This unit worked adequately and I especially like the silent alarm. However, it was impossible to sync with my phone, which made it useless for me.

When you move your hand, it is considered a step. That increases the over all steps giving you inaccurate reading. I know there is the non-dominant hand setting, but still the reading wasnt accurate. I wouldnt recommend hand based fitness trackers because of this. Also this device is not water proof, it is just splash proof. It sticks tight to your hand and the material is not the best. Infact the material used in those cheap casio watches seems more comfortable.

Love it. Trying to lose weight. Wearing the Fitbit make me aware of how much I'm moving or how little. It keeps me on my toes.

Loved it until it fell apart. Only had it 40 days, the back fell off. To much money for it to come apart. Store only gives you only 30 days to exchange.

The Fitbit Charge HR is very useful. It keeps my husband on target regarding exercise and food intake. It has made a difference in his lifestyle. It is difficult to obtain his heart rate at times.

My Charge HRs have worked just as advertised, but I strongly suggest buying the replacement protection plan. They are not "fragile", yet my first one's rubber that protects the hardware area bubbled up after about four months of daily wear. However, it never stopped functioning, yet after sweat found its way under the rubber, it would no longer sync to the iPhone app. Otherwise, it's been a great investment and driver of my exercise increase.

Got this when my Jawbone Up3 went haywire. So far, I like it better than Jawbone. Haven't had any problems with it and it syncs smoothly with either my Android phone or my IPad mini. The Fitbit app is good to go, also.

I am not a teck person. I did want to try this tho. I am having fun with it and I am enjoying the app for it. I have several friends that got one and it is fun to talk to them about all of the things involved with it.

This Fitbit HR is a perfect fit for me. I had a Samsung Gear 2 Neo for a few years, but really just had to accept I'm not much of a "watch" guy. This band hangs nicely on the wrist, records data fine (note-it took a day or two for me to get used to it), and I don't think about it constantly the way I did the Gear 2. If you want something that gets your health vitals down, and does it well, and don't want something overwhelming you with apps and buzzes and choices all the time-this is for you.

She likes everything everything about it except it records every movement of her arm as a step. Obviously feels the step count is inaccurate. Have not been able to figure out a way to stop it.

Fitbit is easy to wear and forget it's there. Sync every morning and you are set to go. The Fitbit app is easy to navigate and watch your sleep pattern, steps, exercise, heart rate, food and water intake. I use with the Cronometer.com app to break down the nutritional values of my food and can see if I am getting enough vitamins and minerals as well. Then it share the total intake value with the Fitbit. The Fitbit has proved to be a very valuable tool to monitor my health. I am pleased!

I thought it would be a lot more accurate than it is. It is still motivating and for the most part i enjoy it because then i at least can have a number of steps and a way to show how close i am to completing it. It is not very good at counting how many sets of stairs you do or how well you sleep. I don't regret getting it but it is definitely not worth $150 dollars. If the main thing you want is step counter i would suggest getting a cheaper one.
