Love the Fitbit HR!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fits nicely on my wrist and have not had any skin irritation problems. Works great. Battery does not hold up 5 days as stated. I only get 3 days battery life before I need to recharge, but it's not a problem. Beware of scratching on the cover face...it's sensitive:) Have really enjoyed tracking sleep and restlessness. Had no idea I wake up and toss so much. Great tool. I highly recommend.

Good Fit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fitbit Charge HR is nifty wearable tech. It calculates, with some questionable accuracy, one's steps, heart-rate, distance traveled, calories burned and stairs climbed (or equivalent). With the app, you can additionally track your sleep patterns, geo-track your treks, count your calories, etc. As a motivational device it excels. As you reach certain milestones, you'll receive clever electronic badges that virtually reward you for things like number of steps taken, and heights achieved. You'll may find yourself squeezing in an extra block (or lap) in effort to reach the mini-celebration of pixels and vibrations the default goal of 10,000 daily steps brings you. Where I find fault is waking with an average of 600-800 steps taken before putting foot one on the ground. Or the couple thousand I get while sitting at my desk doing sitting-at-my-desk type tasks. Sometimes I've ascended a flight or two of non-existent stairs, though infrequently. I trust the heart monitor, and have nothing to add beyond it's neat-o factor. The app is packed with charts and statistics, but some settings must me set through the webpage, which is disappointing. Fitbit will tell you that the goal of the device is about trends. With that I couldn't agree more. Despite the phantom steps and stairs, and some inconvenient web-only settings, I find the Fitbit Charge HR a worthy companion to my new "get healthier" lifestyle.

LOVE IT!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this FitBit! Encourages me to walk more, challenges with friends encourage more steps. Love that I can see heart rate while exercising. It even tracks my sleep and gives a report. Best feature is that it links to My Fitness Pal - pulls in the calories eaten and sends the steps and exercise for calories burned. Simple and straightforward! It does require recharging a bit more often then it advertises, but still not bad.

Love it. Keeps me on the goal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this FitBit. Not only does it count steps, calories burned, track sleep, and keeps track of my Heart Rate - the best thing the Fitbit has done for me is keeping my mind on my goal. Goal to eat healthier, to get up and move, etc. Every time I look at my wrist, I remember to skip that extra helping of food, choose a healthier choice of snack, and remember to move around. Stay active. That's why I love my FitBit.

Great for keeping track of fitness activity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for keeping track of fitness activity. Heart rate monitor is accurate. I use HR to help me stay active when wanting to keep heart rate in specific zone. Two things keep me from giving it 5 stars. 1. battery life is way too short. I can get about 3 days of battery life before I have to charge it . 2. Not very water resistant. Barely resistant enough when washing hands.

Good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are a plethora of these devices out there. I did some research and picked the Fitbit ChargeHR. Easy to use. Easy to set up. Easy to connect with the app. Get time, steps, heartbeat etc., by pushing a button. Tracks sleep pattern also. There are more expensive items out there, but for my level of fitness participation, this product meets my needs. I primarily do martial arts and work out at the gym.

A very useful tool!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from my Fitbit Flex as I wanted to be able to monitor my heart rate along with the other details on my activity. This was easy to set up and sync with both my phone and fitness app. I appreciate the fact that it also gives me more detail on my sleep pattern. My only complaint is that the battery depletes after 2 days instead of closer to the "up to 5 days."

All Around Good Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say that I really like my Charge HR. I've had it and worn it every day for about a month. It accurately tracks steps, distance, and heart rate. I’m still not completely convinced the sleep function is accurate. At first I was skeptical about the accuracy of the heart rate monitor, but after adjusting the sensor so it rested in the proper position and was tight enough it didn’t slip it has been right on every time I have checked it. The caller ID and alarm are nice added features that are convenient to have. I gave the Charge HR 4 stars because there are two places the HR could stand to be improved. First would be to make it more than splash proof, make it waterproof. Secondly my wife noticed that when pushing a cart or stroller the HR doesn’t track steps, accelerometer isn’t moving so no step are being tracked, not sure how you cure that but what a bummer for all those who take the stroller with them on the daily walk or run. Fix these two issues and it would be 5 stars all the way.

Fitbit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first wearable exercise device. Im very happy with it. I bought for Christmas, and have enjoyed it tremendously. It accurately logs my steps and calories burned. Have double checked the pulse rate on other devices and compared and it actually logs it correctly. Love how it monitors my sleep. I think that one of the best features of this device.

Great Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a watch that would track my heart rate and give me a general idea of steps that I take throughout the day. It has actually given me more motivation to stay healthy and try to exercise more often. I also like the sleep tracking feature as it gives me a better perspective of how much I move throughout the night. I like how well it syncs to my phone and keeps my information updated.

Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this HR model to keep track of my HR and all of the calories I burn in a day. It is easy to use and I like that is keeps track of my steps. I averaged 7000 steps at work and all I had to make up was 3000 steps to reach my 10000 steps per day goal.

I love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Several of my friends have fit its and spoke highly of the products. I decided to make a purchase Charge HR to track my steps, sleep and heart rate. One additional feature the I love is having connected to my phone. During meetings I can casually look at my wrist to see who is calling without taking my cell phone out of my pocket. This product is outstanding and has exceeded my expectations!

Good product, minor shortcomings
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use the Charge HR to track my calories burned, and I would say that it does a fair job. I have my fitbit account linked to my MyFitnessPal account to keep track of my calories eaten/burned throughout the day. This has been pretty successful as I stay close to my limits and have been losing about 2.5 lbs per week over the last six weeks (only about 20 more weeks to go). The Charge HR does well on tracking sleep, and the app is great for those who like to quantify their day with numbers, trends and averages to help improve themselves. The product say that it can be showered with, but I haven't let mine get that wet; i normally charge it while in the shower since its off anyway, and that few minutes twice a day keeps it well charged. My workouts are normally treadmill warmup, weights then treadmill or eliptical, and I use the workout tracking feature, so my workout data is kind of imperfect. It does track my heart rate the whole time, but it equates the steps taken for the entire workout into a single "pace," so I end up with a little over an hour of exercise, with 109ish bpm and 1.8 mph average. Not sure if this is the best way to track my workouts but I haven't been eating over the calories that It gives me back so, so far,so good.

Works great, limited use to cyclists
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The charge HR is a great activity tracker. It's accurate and I've compared it with my chest strap HR monitor and it's always within 1-2 beats. I've tried to trick it into logging steps erroneously and found it difficult to fool. Although, walking in circles in elevators does trick the stair counter. I had hoped to be able to use it as a HR data capture for MapMyRide and while the app can connect to it and see it as a HR monitor, the Charge never sends heart rate data. Also, I was hoping to have it continuously display the HR on the screen during workouts and i can't seem to configure it to do that. I can double tap the device to see my heart rate, but that's difficult to do while riding. So ultimately, as a cyclist, this device is of limited use. However, it's a great pedometer, sleep tracker, and HR monitor. If that's what you're looking for, it's great. But, it won't integrate as a HR sensor for MapMyRide or presumably other fitness apps.

Very accurate fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been wanting a Fitbit for a while now and but wasn't sure if it was all that accurate. Once I found out the Charge HR, I started doing some research and reading reviews. After hesitating for some time, I decided to get one as my results in the gym started to decline and I thought my sleeping patterns were really get out of control. Once I got it, very simple to setup as I had it pair with my iPhone with the Fitbit app and eventually had it work with the FitnessPal app. I have to say, it's awesome! It's able to accurately determine the number steps I have taken throughout the day, the number of flights of steps, calories burned, and when it monitors my sleeping, I don't have to tell it to set it. It already knows! The Fitbit app and Fitness app do delay in communication at times, but they do get the job done. For anyone serious about monitoring their fitness results and wants a fitness tracker that also can determine their heart rate as well as help determine what's causing their insomnia. The Fitbit Charge HR is for you.

Good fitness band
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a little bit of research before committing to Fitbit. The product itself is good, although I did find in my research the heart rate monitor is a bit off and after testing it myself I found it to be true. However, it's relatively accurate for it being a wearable device. It's much more convenient and comfortable than one of those heart rate monitors you have to strap on to your chest for those hardcore workout enthusiast. That being said the HR is a good product. I find that it tracks my steps and calories burned. The App is really helpful too. Currently the black is all that's out there, which I was one of my biggest disappointments as I like having color in my life, but they will be releasing additional colors in the future it looks like, although I won't be buying a new one just for the color. For the extra $20 bucks you get the heart rate monitor which is well worth the cost to having the most up to date device from Fitbit..

Exactly What I Was Looking For
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a birthday present for my wife. She has recently committed to exercising, eating better, and seriously dieting after fighting with her weight for years. I am so proud of her I can't even put it into words. Anyway, I the first one I bought was too small b/c the small/medium is VERY SMALL; so I exchanged it for a Large and that one was defective. It didn't charge, count steps, didn't do anything it was supposed to and I was very frustrated. So, I returned that for the one that she has now which works perfectly. We battle each other on steps, heart rate, etc. Plus the caller ID is very nice as well. I also have to say that Best Buy was very very cool each time I had to return. I bought the Protection Plan and they didn't give me any trouble when I had to return the Fitbit twice. I would recommend this to anyone who is wanting to keep track of steps, exercise, etc. They have other fitness trackers that are more in depth, etc., but I chose this because of the sleek look, and I read that the UI was very easy, which it is. I wanted something that was quick to sync, easy to use and red, etc. If you are a Triathlete maybe you should look at other fitness trackers, but for everyday people who run, walk, regular workouts, etc., or just want to keep track of steps this is the tracker for you.

Good product but does not hold charge as described
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product does a good job of tracking step counts and heart rate. I find the floors calculation to be relatively low but don't know the actual height used to measure. The product info says the fitbit holds a charge for 5 days and that is inaccurate for mine, which held a charge for 5 days only once. Typical charge lasts about 3 days.

Great overall health and fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fitbit Charge HR is a great tool to better understand your health and fitness. From using it to better understand your restless sleep patterns due to elevated hart rate from stress. To knowing why you can't maintain your weight; because you don't get enough steps in and don't burn enough calories to overcome what you eat during the day. Also love the silent alarm.

Good Activity Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has good options for activity tracking, steps etc. but it is not water proof. It tracks sleeping hours, but not sure how useful it is. Heart Rate monitoring seems correct, as it matches HR reading on exercise equipment. It has notification for phone calls too.
