    After lots of research, I bought the Garmin. Returned it the next day, bought the Fitbit Charge HR in size small, exchanged it 10 minutes later for the size large to fit my 6.5-inch wrist. Perfect tool, with all the functionality I needed. I've even set alarms every 1.5 hours during the workday to remind me to move, and it's helping me remember to get out of my chair - at least long enough to run up and down the stairs a time or two.

    I have worn the Fitbit Charge HR since early 2015. It took me two years to finally figure out how to walk in order to get the step count to be accurate. Since figuring it out, I am very happy with the watch for steps, sleep and heart rate.
