Great tracker and the heart monitor is a plus

Used the fitbit one for years but lost it (kept popping out of the holder). The charge HR is an improvement but with a few quirks. Tracks steps ok but sometime does not capture going up stairs, and when running it can take awhile to catch up to your stride; the one did this very well. The addition of sleep tracking and the heart rate is a plus, as well as the ability to track workouts. Although sometimes the calories burned during a workout are a little off but all in all it's a great tracker.

I've had my Fitbit HR for about a year & just got this one as a gift for my wife. The heart rate monitor logs data continuously so you can monitor sleep & exercise. My wife set up the phone link so it vibrates when the phone rings. We both think the battery could last longer between charges. I am a little skeptical of the recorded data sometimes but it seems good overall. I found that wearing the Fitbit really does make me think about my diet & work to balance calories in & out.

I love, love, love my Fitbit Charge HR! Keeps track of my steps, heart rate, sleep patterns and calories burned. Syncs with the Fitbit phone app so I can log my daily food, track exercise and weight loss goals. Has been extremely motivating for my weight loss journey. Definitely worth the investment!

A few design flaws, but overall a good product

I may never have researched a product quite as much as I did this one before I bought it, and I'm glad that I did. There are a couple of design flaws, such as the heart rate light flickering all night long. If it's too close to my face while I'm trying to get to sleep, it will keep me up. It can also be bulky and slide up your arm while you're trying to sleep. The battery life could also be better. They say you get about one week with "regular use" (whatever that is!), but I've found it's closer to 5 days. Fortunately I have a desk job where I can sit down and plug it in for a couple of hours. I had to turn off the all day sync to get it to last more than 4 days at a time. Also make sure that you adjust your stride length in the setting on your dashboard online, or it will not track your miles correctly. A few more color options would also be nice. Even with these little annoyances (first world problems) I would recommend the Charge HR.

It displays your steps, heart rate, miles walked and calories burned right on the fit bit. It's even a watch (that was a bonus). Two reasons why I chose this fit bit was the steps taken (I'm kinda addicted) and the heart rate. I didn't know until I opened the package that it displayed it right on the band. Yay Me!!! The only thing I'm not fond of is that it has to be charged so often.

After I had to send back my Force because of the recall (skin irritation), I took a chance on this. It's just small enough to not be cumbersome when I'm working out, hiking, doing Zumba, and still look feminine. No GPS, but I don't really need that. If you're looking for something to tell you calories burned, steps taken, heart rate, miles and stairs climbed, this is for you. Not water proof but water resistant. If you need the while enchilada of waterproof and GPS, go with a Garmin (but it won't look as cute on). :)

I have loved having the Fitbit Charge HR. It has motivated me to jump start my exercise program. I love knowing how many steps I have taken and it motivates me to walk more if I have not reached 10,000 steps. Knowing the heart rate is well worth the little extra. The only problem I find with my Fitbit is the color. I would not recommend the Tangerine color as it seems to pick up dirt along the edges and is difficult to keep clean. Everything else is well worth the price.

I had wanted a Fitbit, but I thought I needed a smart phone. Then my friend told me it worked with a desk top computer, too, so I bought it. I had never enjoyed walking by myself before because I didn't have anyone to share with, but with my Fitbit HR, I can join with other friends who have the device, by way of my computer. We can have walking contests and compare our progress. The fitbit also gives rewards of badges, buzzes, and fireworks when goals are met, both daily and overall. It is so much fun!

Love my Fitbit. It feels very comfortable on my wrist and operates perfectly. The communication from the Fitbit community on line is fantastic. I also love the sleep monitoring feature. The only complaint I have is that they tell you the charge lasts for approximately 5 days and I find it is more like 3 days. However, recharging it is easy and only takes a little over an hour. I am very happy with this product.

I bought this to monitor my heart rate during exercise and while running races. It works flawlessly and helps make sure I don't push myself too hard, but also motivated me to push harder when I'm feeling tired. Some of the races I run, the hardest ones in fact, are the Spartan races (obstacle course/mud runs) and I was bummed to learn this isn't fully waterproof, so I can't wear it during those races for fear of damaging it. Other than that. Love it and highly recommend

I really love the fit bit HR. I love the dashboard and the weekly updates. It's a little clunky on my arm, so I wish it were a little sleeker but, I love all the data I receive and it really helps motivate me. I love the capability of being able to tell the fit bit how much weight you want to lose, put in what you eat and then it tells you how many calories you have left to eat throughout the day. Awesome! I've lost 5 pounds in less than a month already!

I enjoy all the features especially the call ID. However I think the batt life is lacking a bit. Buy it bigger than you expect because they want you to wear it above the wrist bone, which does feel odd but you get use to it. They fitness tech works really well and I was shocked at how it tracks your sleep.

I had a Fitbit Flex that did the job, but then my dog chewed it up and I needed to replace it. I got the Charge HR and I am so glad my dog chewed my old one. I was concerned about the size going from the Flex to the Charge and that it would be uncomfortable but it wasn't. I love that if I receive a phone call my Fitbit tells me who it is. Also the charting of heartrate monitor is great and informative. I plan on getting one for my husband to replace his Charge. Heartrate monitor makes all the difference.

I had a Flex before I went ahead and bought this Charge. With the Flex I was always checking my wrist for the time and was always annoyed when I'd forget that the flex wasn't a watch. With the charge I always have the time and I love the fact I have a way to monitor my heart rate as well. The feature to track a specific exersice period is nice too. The only thing I don't like about the Charge is that you have to charge it more often than the Flex.

I had the Fitbit flex and decided that I wanted something else that would track my heart rate also. I have a polar FT4, but I can't wear that all day for my steps and everything. So far, I've had the Charge HR for about 2 months and it works great! I think the battery life on it could be better. Otherwise, I would tell everyone to buy this. It motivates me to move.

I love my Fitbit - it keeps me moving throughout the day trying to get to that 10k step goal. It tells you specifics such as step count, calories expended, the time, heart rate, etc. I've had to turn off the Auto feature on the heart rate portion though because it wore my battery down way too quickly. I love the plum color of the Fitbit though it's more of a purplish-pink than I would have liked but still blends nicely with my outfit choices.

I am impressed with how sensitive the sensors are on this device and I love all the features you have syncing to the Fitbit application on your phone. Syncig is effortless and occurs 24/7 while bluetooth is enabled. I use it all the time and you have the capability of logging various exercise modes through the timer feature that can calculate your optimal heartrate, caloroes burned, distances, and even nutrition! Did I mention it monitors your sleep patterns? Simply amazing!

Wife was told by her doctor of a medical condition and recommended we pick up a HR monitor + activity tracker. Found this at the store and figured since it had everything all in 1 package, why not? Setup was quick and easy. Wife is able to track everything on her laptop through wireless sync It's light weight and water resistant. We've had it for about 3 weeks now and no issues.
