Life expectancy is okay.... It reads some random info as far as steps and floors climbed.. I've gone thru the fitbit and the jawbone, and I don't recommend them!! Just walk and walk... you don't need this

    It Has Some Good Features

I like that the Fitbit has the capability to track sleep. However, the step counting is inaccurate (it grants me 40 steps for sometimes just putting on my shirt). I figured it would be slightly inaccurate being on the wrist, but I don't know if it's worth the $100. I will say Fitbit has the best customer service I've encountered. The first Fitbit I had started to come apart. I contacted them and they offered to send me a new one, free of charge.

OK product - I have noticed that it will add steps if I wave my arm when I'm standing still. REALLY don't like that feature. I have tracked on 3 different formats and my iPhone 6 seems to be the closest.

The most surprising thing was finding out how little sleep I was getting. I have corrected that and feel much better. Now I have more energy and can reach my goal of 10,000 streps per day.

This fitbit provides a surprising amount of information in a small attractive package. Not just steps and calories, but miles walked, stairs climbed and a sleep statistics and to top it off caller id.

    Motivation with some issues

So far, I enjoy using the Fitbit Charge and it motivates me to move a little more. Everything works well. The only issue I have it that the clasp is poorly designed. So far, it has fallen off of my wrist 3 times in the last three weeks. Fortunately I have been able to find it, but it is only a matter of time before it is gone. While I originally purchased the Charge because I did not feel that I needed the heart rate feature, for the extra $20 - $30 price tag, I wish that I had purchased the Charge HR solely for the buckle that keeps the device on your wrist.

I have a Fitbit charge and wanted to get one for my fiancé for Father's Day. I wear mine daily, and absolutely love it. However, I've noticed that sometimes the steps on his Fitbit are not accurate. I will step about 5-6k steps /day at work (active job), and he's a stay at home dad, and will log in 7-8k steps a day in our small apartment. I'm not sure how this makes sense, but I love how it tracks your sleep, and you can easily see everything on the app.

I think is a very good product and extremely useful but the side button which enables you to look at the time, steps, calories and floors climbed fell off..is it possible to exchange it? Thanks, Luis

The fitbit is okay but not really what I expected . Used to have a polar loop and that did a little bit more. Overall the product is okay but need some more to get more info on overall activities.

I love the concept of the fitbit and have been successful loosing weight. I love the ability to look at my wrist to see how close I am to achieving my goals. I love competing with my friends and the social aspect there can be with it. There has been a BIG problem with the software syncing. I fought with it for quite awhile to get it to work. Working now but not without major frustration.

The Tracker doesn't always capture my stair steps and if I'm on the Glider, it doesn't capture my steps. Sometimes I have issues with syncying.

My charge last for about 8-9 days and because I can connect with my friends keeps me competitive. Started off with this on first and am thinking of moving to the next model. Love it.

Very disappointed with this item. For some reason it gives me over 500 calories each night while I'm asleep, does not accurately count steps taken when running/walking, and doesn't come close to being correct in terms of stairs climbed. I use it only to monitor my sleep - I have no idea whether or not the sleep information is accurate - because I'm asleep! This thing has to work better than it does, doesn't it? I even took my first one back because I thought it was defective. Best Buy couldn't answer any of my questions, and Fitbit website was no more helpful.

Braclet is not secure...The Fitbit falls off of the wrist easily. We haven't lost it yet but it won't be long. Sleep log is great as is the steps and miles. Some issues with sync function.
