This was a present for my wife. She loves it! It has replaced her watch, since it can display the time. She also likes the notifications that she gets from her phone. The sleep activity is great. Oh, and she also uses the step count, which I guess is the original main point of the device!

Works Great - Worried about Band

Fitbit is excellent and works great to track my activity and sleep. I am concerned that it may fall off, as the band does close very securely, and I have heard stories of other people losing theirs. Charge + HR has a "real" watch band and seems more secure. No issues with my Charge.

Fitbit charge is awesome and better than the previous flex I had. Sometimes software seems to be a bit buggy but over the last year it has become better. Overall good product and this one even you don't have to sync that often.

They need to make a size medium. Small is tight and large is huge. I needed something to make me accountable for my exercise and the Fitbit is helpful. My brother and I challenge each other online and he always wins (partially because his wife makes big bucks and he doesn't have to work).

    Design flaw with clasp

Sadly, I'm writing this review just over a month after I got my Fitbit which is now lost somewhere in the streets of Glendale due to, IMO, a design flaw with the clasp. I bought the Fitbit Charge just after Christmas and was quite happy with the fitness application. The problem was that soon after my Fitbit would come undone if I so much as sneeze or do anything that involves high intensity movements with my body. I can't even run as the jogging motion renders the clasp loose. The Fitbit Charge has the weird fastener that you insert in the slots. It's not very secure, I don't know why it wasn't designed with a buckle like the ChargeHR and the Surge. It fell off my wrist a few times and I was able to retrieve it because I saw it falling off. But it's supposed to be designed so that you can wear it everyday without being on the watch as to whether it's going to fall off or not. It's a fitness device so it should be able to handle high intensity activities. Alas, the clasp wasn't designed to meet that need. I would rate this 4 star and even recommend it since I do like the app and the functionality. But because of the design flaw I honestly cannot rate it even as average. What good is a fitness watch when I can't wear it while running or for that matter even when I'm walking and putting groceries in the car?

My wife loves the fit bit and she wears it every day. Today happens to be her personal best # of steps since purchasing it, almost 21,000 steps. She keeps track of everything on her Fitbit. I suppose I will have to break down and get her the next level up with the built in Heart monitor next?

Band is thin enough for me not to worry about hand placement when typing on laptops. But the sleep tracking feature has helped me analyze my sleep over the weeks since purchasing this product. (I don't get the standard hours recommended) It's also nice that my withings scale pairs with my Fitbit account so I refer to the Fitbit app for all my info

This was a gift for my teenage granddaughter, who for a long time had been a junkfood-loving couch potato.. The Fitbit Charge got her setting and reaching goals for activity, for trying new nutritious foods, and for finding ways to make sure she is getting enough sleep. It's a miracle.

I have had the Fitbit for 4 days. I like it. I am hoping it will help me remember to walk more. It keeps track of how many steps I've taken, stairs climbed, and calories burned. It tells how many hours I slept and how long I tossed and turned. I thought it would tell about the quality of sleep or sleep cycles, but it does not. Overall, it is good to keep track of walking distance.

I love some features of the charge hr better then the flex. Things I don't like are it only holds a charge for 2-3 days and not water proof. Flex last 7-10 days and water proof

My FitBit is the best purchase I have made in Years!! It's a great Motivator with challenging other Fitbiter's by just making sure to get 10,000 steps a day in but when you hook up with the fitbit communities and start group challenges the fun really begins. I have dropped 5 lbs in a month and counting!! I recommend Fitbit to anyone who is thinking about it!

This is a basic model which tracks your steps, miles and sleep. Does not track heart rate. Basic design (not very attractive). Battery needs to be recharged only once a week.

I'm happy with it. Just wearing it makes me get up from my desk and move more. I like the silly rewards it gives me, it's positive reinforcement. The sleep feature leaves me blah; I don't need a gizmo to tell me I had a bad night's sleep, I know it. Overall, I like it and I'd buy it again.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She has a very small wrist and it was so small that it wore a bruise on her wrist. Apparently there is only a small size and a large size. We are going to get her a small size. After she uses it I will revise my review of the item. I did a lot of research and this fitness tracker seems to be one of the better ones.
