I tried the Garmin and had horrible experiences, now with the Fitbit Charge I am completely satisfied. It is just like the Force but better. Much sturdier and has more functionalities. When my phone is on silent, the watch will vibrate once to let you know someone is calling (when connected to bluetooth). It is perfect for what i wanted.

Good device to try out fitbit

Size fitted well as described on the box. Device synced well with my android phone. Make sure the battery lasts a few days. Mine was OK for a week then it lasted only 6 hours before going flat. However, fitbit customer support sent a replacement.
