Went from 5k to 10k with this

I started at 5000 steps a day and now I'm consistently doing over 10,000 steps at least five times a week.

I love how I can see the time, track my steps and keep track of my sleeping habits all on the same device! It even has a really sweet app you can use on your phone to keep track of everything on there. Plus, you can add your friends that have fitbits to motivate each other!

Bought as a gift for my mom

Would be able to rate 5 stars if FitBit would improve the fastener on the regular charge. The snap tends to loose up after awhile and it could come off. The new HR charge has a better fastener.

good basic monitor

The video screen in the store that says waterproof...it actually just means sweat proof. After ruining one Fitbit, I read the fine print! Again, this is NOT waterproof,pool proof, or shower proof!
